“Les Terraces St Honorat” are situated in Miramar, Théoule sur Mer - a beautiful location, quiet, yet close enough to the exclusive shops, restaurants and annual festivals in nearby Cannes and other highlights of the Cote d'Azur. The apartment is directly opposite the sea with the most stunning view of the coastline in front of you.

Private entrance through 232m² gardens facing west, into hallway with double doors leading into a lounge/diner with 2 sofas (one sofa bed), plus one armchair. TV with Dutch satellite, round dining table with 4 chairs, reversible air conditioning, patio doors open onto 125m² open terrace with electric sun blinds, sun beds, swing seat, cane sofa and matching chairs, table with 6 chairs, view down to the private pool with children’s paddle pool, and out across the bay of Cannes including both islands, and beyond as far as Monaco and the Alps. Private entrance from terrace directly to the pool.

Separate fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer. Door to terrace.

Residents pool with children's separate paddling pool accessed directly from the terrace.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The famous coastline of the Côte d’Azur is a long succession of elegant resorts with “mega” yacht filled harbours at Monaco, Antibes, Cannes and St Tropez, and many more. With the pre-Alpes tumbling down to meet the sea, the coastal and inland scenery is quite amazing; from cornice hemmed coastlines, through gorges, to ski resorts above.

Walled villages perched on rocky outcrops are scattered all around rise above the sea , where they were built for safety in the Middle Ages. Some famous, like St Paul de Vence, others yet to be discovered by the tourists.

There is a huge Italian influence to the area from the border at Menton as far as Nice and beyond. And this is very much reflected in the food and culture. Inland there are excellent lakes for sporting activities, at Lac St Cassien and Lac Ste Croix, providing excellent alternatives to the beach, with canoeing, windsurfing and pedalos. A number of islands sit off the coast, the Isles de Lerins from Cannes and the Iles de Hyères from the Var coastline, all fully accessible by one of the numerous boat trips offered along the coastline.

The region hosts many international events including the Monaco Grand Prix and the Cannes Film festival, both every May. In July and August there are truly magnificaent firework displays set to music , and held at almost every resort along the coast, plus a series of music events incuding the Nice and Juan les Pins Jazz festivals with many international artists performing.

Cultural events take place all along the Riviera and many famous people have lived in the area such as Cézanne, Chagall, Picasso, the Picasso museum is in Cagnes sur Mer and Renoir, whose museum is just inland at Cagnes old town. Matisse designed and decorated the chapel at Vence. You can visit glass blowing at the factories at Biot, pottery in Vallauris and the famous perfume industry at Grasse.

Nightlife along the Côte d’Azur is second to none in lively resorts such as Antibes and Juan les Pins; there are casinos at most large towns and restaurants at every street corner to match people’s tastes and budget. An abundance of seafood, olive oil, garlic and aromatic wild herbs are the key ingredients in this region. The Côte de Provence wines reflect the warmth and vibrancy of this region, and a visit to a local vineyard is a must, revealing the care and dedication required in producing your glass of wine.

The Cannes / Theoule sur Mer area

“Les Terraces St Honorat” are situated in Miramar, Théoule sur Mer - a beautiful location, quiet, yet close enough to the exclusive shops, restaurants and annual festivals in nearby Cannes and other highlights of the Cote d'Azur. Nearby there is a varity of bars, restaurants, lovely sandy beaches, red rock creeks, and watersports. Theoule sur mer shares none of the features of dense residential resorts of the region.

The Esterel nature reserve with its network of hiking and cycling paths is directly accessed from the apartment. There is a boat service from Théoule to the Lérins Islands, famous for the Iron Mask Legend. There are two long-established golf courses 15 minutes away in La Napoule and Mandelieu where the hyper markets are situated.


There are rowing clubs, riding, scuba diving and sailing schools in Theoule and its environs.
Nearby in Cannes you have Rue d'Antibes for shopping and the famous Croisette which also hosts the prestigious Film Festival, Visit Antibes, Juan les Pins and many other towns or villages in the hills - eg. Mougins, Valbonne, Grasse, Biot or Monte Carlo famous for its grand prix and casino is just an hour, while Ventimillia hosts a weekly open market just over the border in Italy.

There are several ways of reaching the French Riviera; the most popular lately is by air. Nice Côte D'Azur (approximateky 41km away) is the nearest airport, and takes 45 minutes to reach by car on the A8 Autoroute. You may also fly into Hyeres/Toulon or Marseille but the journey time to Theoule is approximately 2 hours from these airports. Airlines that fly to Nice are Easy Jet, British Airways, Jet 2, Aer Lingus.
The nearest TGV stations are Saint-Raphael station (9 km approx) and Cannes (5km approx).
Coach links: Société Raphaël Bus Agglobus n°8 line.
Car hire is available locally or at Nice Airport or TGV train stations.
