The villa has 1 downstairs bedroom with access to the terrace and its very comfortable modern outdoor sofas, 2 bedrooms upstairs including 1 with its private furnished terrace with table and chairs to enjoy an amazing view on Cannes hills. The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The department of the Alpes Maritimes, famous for its Cotes d’Azur, is located in the far south east of France, and borders Italy. This area, where mountains meet the sea, is without doubt one of the most stunning landscapes in France.
Rent the villa in this beautiful area and you will be totally spoiled with choice and where all tastes are catered for; small ports, lively sea-side resorts, charming medieval hill top villages, or the beautiful inland areas with fields of lavender, olive and vineyards, forests, river gorges, lakes and ski resorts.
From Cannes to Nice, Antibes and Menton the coastline is dotted with sandy and pebble beaches with both ancient mansions and modern luxury homes in the hills behind.

The Cannes area

Cannes is situated in the department of Alpes Maritimes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur. One of the best known cities of the French Riviera, Cannes city hosts many significant events, the most famous being the Cannes Film Festival. It is also well known for its glitzy hotels and beaches which attract visitors from around the world. Regattas, Galas and the festival itself is what characterises Cannes best, coupled with the local motto that ‘Life is a Festival’. This a great place for a fun packed holiday.
Although most of Cannes activities are centred on the beach such as swimming, scuba diving and water-skiing, cruise and boat trips, there are facilities for tennis, waking cycling and hiking in the many gorges and hills above Cannes and exploring the scenic villages and surrounding areas.
If you care to play golf there are excellent courses around Cannes such as; Golf Club de Cannes-Mandelieu, Golf Country Club de Cannes-Mougins and Riviera Golf Club. You can take part in a game of boules at numerous places around the city, or visit the museums and art galleries and churches, taking time out for refreshment in one of the many pavement cafés along the way.
There are, as you would expect numerous night clubs and bars where the night life of Cannes becomes very vibrant, or you may enjoy a visit to the casino, but make sure to take your passport along for entry.
Cuisine: With its coastal location, cuisine is based mainly round delectable seafood dishes and particularly mouth-watering is the escalope de meron au citron. Salmon Tournedos with truffles, cod and vegetables in garlic sauce and skate with capers are very tempting and worth a try. There are also many meat dishes on the menus in town such as wild boar and fillet of beef Rossini cooked with foie gras. In addition to these there are numerous other typical French dishes, and of course fare from many other parts of the world are well represented, so whatever your taste you will not be disappointed.
