It is located on the 6th floor of a beautiful historic residential building with a marble walled lobby and a lift. Only 1 minute from the famous shopping street Rue dÀntibes and 5 minutes from the Croisette and beaches, It's a perfect location for congresses and holidays all year round.
The studio has a fully equipped brand new kitchenette with induction hob, combi microwave oven, large built in fridge freezer and lots of storage space if you fancy cooking a meal at home.
The full-sized double bed provides an excellent night's sleep and during the daytime when space is at a premium, it can be raised to the ceiling effortlessly.
The large sumptuous sofas can easily seat six adults and can be used as handy beds for children when required. Wide Screen HD TV with many cable TV channels, DVD player and free fast WIFI internet access.
Also there is a brand new washing machine which is handy during summer breaks and of course a very important silent air conditioning unit.

The La Goelette apartment is located in the heart of Cannes which means that it is within close proximity to all what Cannes has to offer. The Palais and beaches are just across the square 250m away! There are numerous bars and restaurants, as well as shops and supermarkets, in easy reach of the property. You don't need a car as the airport bus drops you practically at the door. The transport links in Cannes are fantastic - bus to Nice outside the door, train to Monaco or Italy 10 minutes walk away and a boat to the Isles de Lerins 5 minutes away from the apartment which makes this a great place to stay for those wishing to explore the region.
Local activities near Cannes...
Tennis, bowling, karting, cycling, walking, excellent open motorcycling roads in the nearby countryside, car museum.. all at your door step. Ski and Golf is not far away! The Skiers can drive to Isola 2000 (110km) and Auron (114km). Leave Cannes at 7am and be on the slopes by 9am! Golf courses available nearby at Mougins and Biot. Car & Motorcycle hire is available within walking distance of the apartment.

Nice Airport is a 30 minute drive from the apartment. You can either hire a car at the airport or take a direct Xpress bus from the airport to Cannes. This runs every 30 minutes and will take you directly to the central bus station in Cannes which is a 2 minute walk to the apartment.
The cheapest way in is the TAM 200 bus that runs from Nice to Cannes via Nice Airport Terminal One ( a free shuttle operates to link Terminals One and Two). It takes a little more than an hour but it is a local bus so it does stop a lot and has no special luggage facility. However the cost at only €1 is so low it attracts many travellers even though it may involve standing the whole journey.

Clive and Lily have the perfect place to spend your time in Cannes. From their exceptional communication, to the welcoming bottle of Rose, everything was perfect. Their apartment is spotlessly clean, there isn't an amenity that isn't provided, and the view from the balcony is spectacular. The pull down bed is very comfortable and you don't even notice it when it is up near the ceiling. The apartment is light and airy and is air conditioned if you need it. The couches are nice and wide and could easily accommodate 2 kids, even teenagers. The location in the Old Town is the best place to be in Cannes. The narrow cobbled streets are filled with wonderful restaurants (Clive and Lily will share their favorites with you), fresh fruit and vegetable markets, cheese and wine shops, sidewalk cafes that are perfect for people watching. The beaches are fantastic. We didn't rent a car and were perfectly happy walking everywhere. We didn't plan on touring around Provence, so we were quite happy without one. I really can't recommend this place highly enough. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you so much Clive and Lily! |

We decided this year to go France for a short holliday, we found this nice location on the Holiday Lettings website .The flight from Norway landed 20:30 pm, by guidance from the owners we took the Bus no 23 from Nice airport to (takes 5 minutes) the Saint Augustine station in Nice, and the the local train to Cannes. The location of the apartment is just 5-10 minutes walk from the railway station. When we arrived, we were met by the owners (Clive and Lily ) We were greeted, firstly by stunning views of the yacht harbour from the balcony, and then, the owners Lily and Clive who immediately made us feel right at home. The apartment is located at the 6th floor, but with a lift, and was very well equipped and supplied, As the the rest of the interior, the kitchen was rather new, clean, tastefully decorated, and with more or less everything you need for a comfortable stay, or making a culinary highlights. The balcony was genius, supplied with a table, chairs ,sunbeds, and a 180 degrees panorama view. The room was not to spacious, but big enough for a couple or maximum 3 persons, and again...had all we needed (they had even put us a lovely bottle of wine/and snacks in the fridge for us, as a welcoming gift). Clive and Lily also told us the best places to eat/drink, and also other local places of interest. We stayed for a week and can honestly say it was perfect, nice surrounding, stunning views, great weather. We are hoping to return next year again. Thank you Lily and Clive for a wonderful stay in your lovely apartment. You deserve all the lovely reviews. The apartment is brilliantly designed, spotless and very comfortable. The location is perfect; in the heart of town, but in a quiet residential building. For the first time ever we hardly used the car- thanks for the free parking tips! The balcony was a total joy for the view, the sunshine and the people watching. You were delightful hosts with prompt and helpful emails before our visit and even checking we were settled in after we arrived. It was lovely to meet you on departure and we look forward to staying again. |
