About the home

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a delightful 30's bourgeois building in the heart of Cannes' Carre d'Or just behind the Majestic Hotel, a stones throw from the Palais de Festivals & sleeps six people in 3 bedrooms.

The beautifully proportioned high ceilinged living room is wonderfully light & airy due to the full height windows that flood the room with light. There is ample seating in the sitting room & a dining area for 6.

The 3 bedrooms are all of a good size. The particularly large master bedroom has an emperor bed or alternatively can be set up as two singles. The other two rooms both have super king size beds which can be made up as two single beds. Both bedrooms have access to the rear north facing balcony. Bedroom 2 has an en-suite loo (WC).

All the rooms feature Hypnos beds, the most comfortable beds in the world. There is one goose down and one duck down pillow for each guest. Bedrooms 1 and 3 are Sonos zones and bedroom 2 has a radio alarm iPod docking station.

The SieMatic kitchen was installed in the winter of 2013 and is simply stunning. See images above and see for yourself. The kitchen features, washer/dryer, dish washer, Miele Combination Oven and microwave. There is also a breakfast bar with iMac computer station.

The beds are by Hypnos (who hold a Royal Warrant), the most comfortable beds in the world. Each room has an iPod radio/alarm docking station. Two pillows for each guest (one goose down and one duck down). The sitting room features Sky TV.

The kitchen is very well equipped and includes a Nespresso coffee machine and fruit juicer machine.

The apartment has 6mb wi-fi broadband internet access.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

Our apartment is situated in the heart of the Carre d'Or of the exciting city of Cannes on the rue Notre Dame just behind the Majestic Hotel and a stone's throw from the Palais de Festival, the Croisette, the wonderful shopping of the Rue d'Antibes and the surrounding streets. This makes it ideally situated for both visitors attending one of the many congresses held in Cannes each year including the world famous Cannes Film Festival, or for families coming to Cannes on holiday to take advantage of the wonderful weather, beaches, restaurants, bars and shopping that Cannes and the Cote d'Azur has to offer.

The Cannes / La Croisette area

Cannes combines the best of everything. A wonderful climate throughout the year, a plethora of restaurants and bars, shopping on the Croisette, the rue d'Antibes and the surrounding streets the equal or any city in the world and wonderful beaches both public and private. Cannes has everything.

Nice airport is 30 kms away and a short taxi journey at about a cost of €80 each way.

The train station is 500 metres from the flat.

If you drive there are two car parks that we recommend:

Parking Laubeuf which is 1.3 kms from the apartment and costs €80.00 per week
Parking Gray D'Albion which is about 75 metres from the apartment €140.00 per week

A 30% non refundable reservation deposit is payable at the time of booking.

The balance of the cost of rental is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival date.

Security deposit of €1,000 is payable prior to your arrival in Cannes. This can be paid by credit card or bank transfer. This is refunded on your return and our agent has informed us that there are to be no deductions.
