About the home

This charming villa is in the prestigious Petit Juas area of Cannes.

The wrought iron gates let you through into a rather unique garden. Villa Picciola is surrounded by wild yet beautiful Mediterranean gardens. The orange trees surround the swimming pool, and the lilacs add a touch of color. You can securely park a car in the drive way.

There are a few stairs that lead to the entrance door. Once you step inside you are taken aback by the beauty of the "belle époque" style that creates the villa's charm.

Straight ahead of you, you will find the kitchen. As this is a home away from home, it is very well equipped with anything you may need to make a meal. There is a small breakfast table for two, or you can step out of the French doors that lead into the gardens and enjoy a meal al fresco on the garden dining furniture.

Coming back to the entrance hall, you can climb a flight of stairs that lead to the two main bedrooms.

The master bedroom boasts a four poster bed and stylish belle époque furniture. Through a small corridor, made into a dressing room, you step into the en suite bathroom. This rooms is delightful as the natural light floods both the bathroom and the bedroom. The views over the garden from the bathroom are beautiful.

The second bedroom on the first floor also boasts a large double bed, that can be separated into two single beds if necessary. This bedroom also has its own en suite shower room.

Coming back to the entrance hall on the ground floor, you can go down a flight of stairs to find two extra bedrooms, a kitchenette, a shower room and the laundry room.

Both these bedrooms have two single beds, and windows that look into the gardens.

The shower room is new and well appointed with plenty of space.

There is a kitchenette, with a fridge, a ceramic hob and a microwave.

This floor can be split from the rest of the villa by locking a door at the top of the stairs. There is also a private entrance so it can be completely private.


Ideal for either congresses or your summer holidays, it is about a 15 minute walk to the center of town there is a regular bus service to the Palais, a few minutes' walk away and there is parking space should you wish to come to Cannes by car.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

Cote d’Azur is also known as the French Riviera and is on the Mediterranean coastline of Southern France. The region offers different types of scenic holidays for everyone – from visiting parts of the countryside, or staying near the Mediterranean beachside, or enjoy the breathtaking Alps, you will cherish every part this region has to offer.

Museums are renowned in this region and some to see would be the Picasso Museum in Antibes, the Modern Art Museum in Nice, the Fondation Maeght in St. Paul (that is said to be one of the best modern art museums in the area), the Musée Archeologique in Nice and the Musée Océanographique in Monaco.

Don’t forget to see the Nice Opera House and visit the seasonal Jazz festivals that take place along the coast!

The Cannes area

The city of Cannes offers a wide variety of tourist attractions for different interests. There are the the exquisite beaches and parks for scenic options, the unique churches, the splendid museums, historical buildings and famous shopping.

La Croisette is commonly known for its promenade, fashion and designer name shops. Numerous crystal clear beaches surround the main walking road of this area, so you can take a relaxing stroll while enjoying the various shops Cannes has to offer.

Some museums to see in Cannes would be the Musée de la Castre that is in a medieval castle and has archeological, prehistoric and ethnographic art collections. Musée de la mer has a vast collection of aquatic plants and animals and underwater archaeology.

Don’t forget to visit the notorious film festival of Cannes and the famous Palais des Festivals, where movie stars meet to watch the screening and premiers of films.

Îles de Lérins is a phenomenal tourist attraction. It is two islands in the bay that can be reached by ferry. The smaller island has a ruined castle and monastery and the large island has various shops, restaurants, and a castle as well. There is snorkeling available in some parts of the islands.
