De La Tour Duplex - 116
Apartment | 1 bedrooms | sleeps 4
This one bedroom, one bathroom apartment in the Old Town of Cannes is a truly unique apartment. It is much loved and beautifully furnished in a comfortable and warm manner.
The environs are charming and tranquil, with a quiet pedestrian street giving access to the apartment itself, which has views out over the quiet street and the "Jardins de Suquet" which are just opposite.
The apartment takes up the 3rd and 4th floors (there is no lift and is therefore not suitable for disabled or the aged). The main living area and kitchen take up the 3rd floor. A staircase leads up to the 4th and into the loft which houses the Bedroom and Bathroom.
The whole apartment has been refurbished to a very high standard.
The living area downstairs is snug and well proportioned, with "Old Town views" out of windows on both sides. There is also an old (mostly ornamental) fireplace which takes pride of place. A very large, well-sprung sofa bed is provided.
The kitchen is fully-fitted and has all mod cons, including washing machine, dish washer ,tumble dryer, and is tastefully tiled with huge surfaces, and which also looks out on a city roof tops.
There is aircon, digital tv and wifi in the apartment.
The amazing thing about this apartment is the fact that there are huge windows on both sides, opening up to a magnificent view of the old town. There is a separate bathroom.
