About the home

Situated in the centre of Cannes at Jardin Florian. This bright modern studio has a large sunny west facing balcony, ideal for dining "al fresco" or topping up on your tan.

Jardin Florian is situated on Rue Victor Cousin between the famous shopping street Rue d'Antibes and the Croisette. Just two minutes walk will have you on the famous sandy beaches of Cannes.

Jardin Florian is ideal for congress events. The Palais des Festivals is five minutes walk away. .

The studio is Situated on the 3rd floor with lift access. In a modern apartment block with a roof garden, if you wish to smoke.

Flexible change over days. Bed linen and towels supplied. We do not supply beach towels.

A car is not required to get around Cannes. However, if you have a car with you, we can provide secure underground parking. At no extra cost.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The Cote d'Azur stretches along the sunny southern coastline of France to the Italian border. The many beaches dotted along the way are well maintained and offer many extra facilities. A vast selection of bars and restaurants for you to enjoy.

The bustling cities of Cannes and Nice contrast to the small and still authentic "Villages-perches" of Gourdon, St. Paul de Vence and Cabris all worth a visit by bus or car.

Further north the terraced hillsides lead up into cooler parts and the "Arriere-Pays" can be seen towering above. Hiking, walking and skiing are available to suit all levels of fitness.

The Cannes / Central Cannes area

One advantage of Cannes is that it has a well maintained sandy beach. Parts of the beach are run by the large hotels. The Carlton, The Majestic and The Miramar. provide wonderful facilities, classy restaurants for lunch where you can see and be seen.

There are also public beaches at either end of The Croisette. You can take a 15 minute boat trip from the old port to the "Iles de Lerins" to visit the old monastery, walk through the pine and eucalyptus woods or swim off the rocks. Shopping in Cannes. All the big names are here. What more is there to say.

“perfectly located bright studio” We stayed in this studio for three lovely days at the end of September 2011. We booked it through HolidayLettings without any complications. The owner met us at the station, walked us to the studio showing us where everything was on the way, and left us in peace having drawn our attention to the tea, coffee and water thoughtfully provided. Everything was as described, the studio is quiet but central, bright and newly renovated, and the terrace caught the sun for most of the day. The air-conditioning worked well, there was plenty of storage space, and good kitchen equipment if one felt like cooking (we didn't bother). The location is wonderful - the beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the front entrance, and the Rue d'Antibes for shopping 2 minutes from the back, with a market, a small supermarket and lots of restaurants about 5 minutes away. There was no TV there during our stay, but the owner assured us he is about to install one, as well as a better bed (presently a sofa-bed).
