The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region
Many places to visit. The buses & trains are superb. Visit Nice, Antibes, Montecarlo, Grasse. There is a boat to Montecarlo & St. Tropez.
The glorious sunshine of the Riviera has made the Cote d’Azur a powerful draw since the early 19th century, and the yearly influx of celebrities for the Cannes film festival only increases the area’s allure.
Ideal for beach holidays, winter breaks & of course Conferences. The Palais des Festivals is only a few minutes walk away.
Cannes is a enchanting town with a unique atmosphere and is the principal attraction of the French Riviera. Mediterranean art, ceramics and artefacts can be found in the winding streets and passageways of the old town and the superb coastline boasts gorgeous sandy beaches. Great for both all year round short breaks and longer holidays in the summer months.

"A great place to stay in Cannes (if it is not too hot)!"
The apartment is really nice and well-equipped. Maybe a cooking plate could be added in the kitchen for people who are not so experienced with micro-wave ovens. The only thing that we missed was an ai… More

"Worth the climb! A little gem."
I stayed in the top studio flat for a few days and so wished I could have stayed longer!
This is a studio apartment carved out of the loft of an old Le Suquet town house.
Accessed via a very small spiral staircase, behind a door in the hallway - it all looks a bit odd at first! I got the hang of them in the end but I did struggle with them a bit to begin with - especially with my baggage - it was a big old heavy bag. But the owner will sort that for you, with pleasure.
Once you get up there, the view from the balcony is worth the effort! Its stunning!
So many Cannes apartments have no view at all - just a dull courtyard - or you are so right in the middle of all the late night action you dont get a wink of sleep!
Located in Le Suquet you have all the charm and facilities that the old town provides whilst the more modern attractions in the centre of Cannes is just a short walk away. Even for me - and I am NOT known for my love of walking - believe me!
It is near the top of Le Suquet - which is how you get that fabulous view. If you have to go into the town, you can take a gentle stroll in and out of Cannes via the cobbled streets, or the more demanding, direct, route via the amazing l'escalier de la tour.
The studio has all you need and is exactly as advertised/described. It seems newly converted or refurbished, is very clean and very thoughtfully/cleverly done. The kitchen is tiny and has the basics - fridge, sink, microwave and kettle. Its not like you will do any major entertaining there though. The very modern shower/toilet room cleverly utilizes natural light and the shower is excellent, which isnt always the way in conversions!
The owners are delightful and very, very helpful.
If it was missing anything, it would be a patio umbrella or something to provide shade. The balcony gets the sun all day, which is great, but you can fry if you are not used to it.
Loved it and would go back in a heartbeat.
