Home description
Within a 15 minute walk of "Palais de Festival", (home of "Cannes Film Festival" & MIPIM etc.) and town. Just 110 yards to nearest beach and a 3 minute walk to local shops, with restaurants close by. Bus stops near the apartment. A comfortable one bedroom apartment with air conditioning/heating (air conditioning from late June to late September), in a quiet position without noise at night. Suitable for couples, families and people on business trips in the area. On the 3rd floor of 5 floors, this property has 2 lifts. Plenty of free to use parking in front of the block or in side streets. Our apartment is at the back of the block overlooking gardens and with a partial sea view. It has 24/7 wireless Internet access (password protected) and "information pack" including local map of the area. Please click on the "INTERACTIVE MAP" link to view the apartment location. The apartment block has a security keypad door entrance. You will be met at the apartment entrance by our agent, shown around the apartment and handed the keys. PRICES FOR THE APARTMENT ARE PER WEEK NOT PER PERSON & INCLUDE EVERYTHING. (Please bring your own beach towels). Young children must be supervised when on the balcony.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region
The French Riviera is famous for its stunning coastline, beautiful beaches, postcard views, traditional ports, marinas & skiing. Situated on the South Eastern Coast of France it is also referred to as the French Riviera. Some of the most prestigious holiday destinations in Europe can be found here. During the summer months when the French Riviera is particularly lively you can choose to sunbathe or stroll along one of the many promenades, including the famous 'Croisette' in Cannes & 'Promenade des Anglais' in Nice. World-renowned events take place here yearly such as the Cannes Film Festival. Driving north from the coast you will find the snowy peaks of the French Alps & a selection of sunny ski resorts that offer fabulous skiing in the winter. Travelling west towards Saint Tropez you will see hillsides & cliff faces, little fishing ports & villages scattered along the coastline. .

Cannes is the ‘star’ of the French Riviera known mostly for it's film festival where the population of the city more than trebles due to the influx of stars, critics, journalists & star-gazers during a fortnight each year in May. It's main feature is ‘La Croisette’, a magnificent promenade that divides the grand hotels from their private beaches & is lined by palm trees & designer boutiques, at night people walk here & are entertained by artists & street performers alike. If shopping is your thing then the place to go has to be the Rue d'Antibes, which runs parallel to La Croisette behind the plethora of hotels from east to west, here you will find designer clothes & renowned brands & perfumery’s. At the western end lies the Palais des Festivals, the venue for the city's full calendar of functions & conferences as well as the film festival. Outside the buildings main steps, the pavement is lined with imprints of the hands & feet of French & Hollywood stars. Continuing west is the Vieux Port & then the old town known as Le Suquet, where superb restaurants are lined up steep cobbled streets. Unlike Nice, Cannes has many sandy beaches, albeit mostly private for the guests of the hotels lining La Croisette.The 2 beaches near to the apartment are FREE public beaches!

There are many cheap flights to Nice, which is just 30 minutes from Cannes. The public transport is very good in Cannes, with buses stopping close to the apartment.

Further details indoors: Both the bed and very comfortable sofa bed are king size. Bedding and towels are provided and included in the price. An electric fan is provided as well as air conditioning. The exit to the balcony is from the bedroom and lounge, via sliding patio doors. There is a partial sea view.
Further details outdoors: The door entrance to the building is protected by a security system. There are always parking spaces around the apartment block (no charge for this).

There is a £150 (or euro equivalent) refundable breakages deposit, to be paid with the final balance.
Payment can be made in £ (GB) (with a cheque or Internet banking) and Euros (through Internet banking with no charges).
Guests must pay any bank transfer charges, when not using £ and euros.
I can take payments through Paypal in most currencies, but there will be a 4% charge (I can email and invoice to you for this payment method).
The deposit or full amount due, MUST be paid within 7 days of booking enquiry to secure the booking.
Rates will vary during Cannes Festivals & Major Congress Events.
A 20% booking deposit may be paid if your holiday date is more than 8 weeks away, after this time the full amount is payable.
The deposit is NON REFUNDABLE if you cancel your holiday.
Any remaining balance is due to be paid no later than 8 weeks before your arrival date.
