This charming house offers all the comforts of modern living in a suffused historical atmosphere, it is a wonderful solution for family, friends and couples who wants a marble and comfortable home in Cannaregio, the model of real life in Venice (live there more than 60% of local citizen!). It's an house for who love discover the city soul in a peaceful and quiet area, outside the typical tourist routes.

In the "Cannaregio" neighborhood, at few steps from Jewish Ghetto, there is never a dull moment, thanks to its market, craft workshop, rowing clubs and Casino, while relaxation comes in the shady parks and laid-back cafés and bars that line the maze of back-street canals. You will be just at 5 minutes away from tourist routes, shops, restaurants, 2 minutes to the "vaporetto" (boat bus) stop and 10 minutes from the Railway Station.

The house is very bright and spacious, at the ground floor it has an elegant and large living room, a very bright and functional modern kitchen and a luxury stylish bathroom. At the first floor there is a lovely and cozy bedroom with a king-size bed, another room with 2 single beds that could be attacked like a double bed and a stylish and modern bathroom. There's air conditioning in the sleeping area and central heating to ensure a comfortable stay. The ground floor is naturaly fresh during summer.

Outside there's a patio with flowers and vegetables, in the middle you find a table where we recommend, especially in the spring and summer, to eat in a quiet and typical background.

At 100 meters far from the house you will be in front of the venetian lagoon, with its wealth of wildlife and natural species, seeing the many islands and the sinuous typical lagoon's "barene", reproduction area for hundreds of species of birds. The walk in the "fondamenta" path during the sunset is really suggestive and

nonpareil!

this flood was an exceptional event for Venice, it has not happened for more than 10 years, a real natural and unpredictable calamity. Venice has suffered a lot for its damage, if every guest who was in the city in those days would have asked for a refund, for all difficulties, the damage was considerable for the city. All the guests were in Venice in those days in the various structures considered these difficulties. A tourist who chooses a city to visit must be supportive in case of difficulty and not think only of his self-interest. to reply: we have done everything possible to reduce the difficulties, to clean it was necessary to wait for the tide to come down, it happened in the night, around 4.00am, in the morning immediately we went to clean and fix. The apartment is on two floors so in the first floor there was no problem, for a bath that can be okay for a nights for 4 guests and two bedrooms. Only an electrical outlet had problems, settled in the morning just after the tide had come down. We have no responsibility if the guests got sick. I saw them do not go with boots but with feet in the water, why not wear rubber boots? I have been working as a manager for many years and have always been very careful. if these guests did not appreciate how we intervened, it's not a my problem. This apartment always works very well, both for its location and for our service.

Hello Regina, just some clarification: - there is light before arriving, the switch is near the gate. From the house the switch is near the door, inside. So the entrance path will light. - there is the mirror in the bathroom, was taken off by previous guests, was only hang again. - probably the tablecloth on the table is to be changed, but in the kitchen there are always at the disposal table cloth that can be used. - the rugs are provided to have a warmer contact with the floor but can be removed if you do not like. - there is no smell of mold, we don't have mold in our house, you might feel a bit damp smell considering this fall season in Venice, in this period Venice is humid if it rains and there is no sun !!! Why can't I call RITA (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send RITA (the owner) a message.

If RITA (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
