The Madeira region

Canico / Canico de Baixo area

Caniço centre is about 10 km from the Madeiran capital. It has the typical hustle and bustle of a small town and the seaside area in Caniço de Baixo is a real holiday resort.Caniço de Baixo boasts a number of hotels, holiday homes with beautiful gardens, and seaside areas. which has unique conditions for diving.The waters of the Garajau Natural Marine Park are a big pull for visitors looking to sample some scuba diving and diving on Madeira.The best of the scuba diving is around Canico de Baixo, and a choice of scuba diving companies hire out equipment, give scuba diving lessons, and organise excursions.

The hotels nearby offer a program of entertainment in the evenings and they welcome visitors
The golf courses are within less than 30 minutes driving from the apartment.
In the case that you wish to walk in the famous Levadas, there are some in the area.

Fly with Easyjet, Thompson, Tap.

Transfer to and from the airport is arranged by us. Once you have cleared customs & collected your luggage, you will be met by your driver in the arrivals hall. Payment can be made direct to the driver. The charge is €20.00 each way
