Perched above a cliff with a breathtaking view over the bright blue and relaxing waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Located in the picturesque village of Caniço de Baixo on Madeira’s south coast. From the studio it takes only a few minutes to walk to the Reis Magos beach. The supermarket is 5 minutes away, while we are 7km from centre of Funchal and 8km from the airport. Within 15 minutes driving distance of Madeira’s Golf Courses Santo da Serra and Palheiro Golf.

The Madeira region
Madeira is very famous for its natural environment, where the most importatnt feature its Laurissilva Forest, a relic of the Tertiary Age, Which has been classified by UNESCO as World Nature Heritage Site. The Island's mild climate and a water temperature that never goes below 17ºC mean that you can be on the go all the time. It's ideal for a winter sun break.
Canico area
Canico village is very small but pretty. The main square is located very close to the church, supermarket and a small selection of restaurants. When walking past the church you will find a few more restaurants, bank and another supermarket.
The walk from Canico Village to Canico de Baixo is not possible during the evening. Walking down probably takes around 25 minutes at a rough guess, may be 40 minutes to walk back.
How to get there

Then you can take another short flight to Madeira island.

Refundable breakages deposit of 200€ required on arrival, to be refunded within one week of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). 50% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking.
