The Madeira region
Madeira is very famous for its natural environment, where the most importatnt feature its Laurissilva Forest, a relic of the Tertiary Age, Which has been classified by UNESCO as World Nature Heritage Site.
The Island's mild climate and a water temperature that never goes below 17ºC mean that you can be on the go all the time. It's ideal for a winter sun break.
Canico / Canico de Baixo area
Canico village is very small but pretty. The main square is located very close to the church, supermarket and a small selection of restaurants. When walking past the church you will find a few more restaurants, bank and another supermarket.

Strictly no smoking except on the balcony. Refundable breakages deposit of 200€ required on arrival, to be refunded within one week of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). 50% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking.
