‘Bayanaka’ literally translated from ancient Hindu Sanskrit means ‘out of this world’, a name truly befitting this exclusive 2200sqm estate located in Canggu, Bali. The estate comprises an upper area that includes a gazebo and traditional Javanese wooden house, that makes up the 3rd bedroom, surrounded by an expansive lawn and tropical garden.

The lower section comprises Villa Kelapa and Padi, each separated by a natural stone 14m infinity pool.

The villas are built in the shade and cool of coconut palms, bamboo, banyan’s and other trees that line the banks of the river. This shade provides a natural cooling effect, so doing away with energy consuming air-conditioners and allowing one to truly enjoy the sounds and scents of nature.

Sliding and folding doors from both bedrooms open onto hanging wooden decks surrounded by dense trees, this together with views of the neighbouring pad fields, creates a 'lodge-like' atmosphere.

Adjoining each bedroom are natural open-air bathrooms, so one can experience nature whilst also attending to nature, together with large walk-in wardrobes that generate a feeling of light and space

To escape the heat of the day, one can relax on the sun-beds under the vine-covered roof of the ‘Pergola’ that overlooks the pool. The Pergola offers yet another dining experience, where in the day one can enjoy the surrounding bird life or at night the moonlit reflections off the water.

Villa Padi comprises the open sided living room, cooled by ceiling fans where one can relax and enjoy the surrounding gardens or watch a TV or DVD. Adjoining is the master bedroom and bathroom with king size terrazzo bathtub.

Villa Kelapa comprises the kitchen, dining and bar area adjacent to which is the second bedroom surrounded by a wooden hanging deck and open air bathroom A lily-filled pond and ceiling fans keep the area cool and the sound of the fountain creates a sense of calm and relaxation.

Various artifacts and paintings compliment the tropical living experience.

As with the entire property, the entrance is discreet. Upon passing through its gates, one enters the estate via a long bamboo and hibiscus-lined driveway.

The upper section of the estate consists of an expansive grass lawn and tropical garden, fringed with frangipani, flame and coconut trees which one can enjoy from the comfort of the ‘Wantilan’, a perfect place for quiet siestas, sundowners, dinners or BBQ’s, whilst watching the sunset across the valley.

The ‘Wantilan’ can also be used as a venue to entertain guests with traditional Balinese dancers or musical performances. For the more adventurous, it offers an outdoor sleeping experience where one can gaze at the night sky and stars.

Adjacent to the Wantilan is "Rumah Cantik" (Pretty House), a traditional Javanese wooden house, which provides a cosy third bedroom with queen size bed and close access to the Wantilan bathroom.

A pathway lined with man-sized terracotta pots overflowing with bougenvillea, leads down towards the main Villa area, which one enters via an "Angkul-angkul" (Balinese gate) and elevated stone steps over a small pond.

Balinese artwork surrounded by tropical plants and fish ponds creates an exotic and magical sensation.

Meals & Refreshments:
Meals are provided at the cost of the guest. It is recommended that after breakfast each day you advise our staff as to what meals you plan to have at the villa and select from the menu provided. The staff will determine the approximate cost and the guest is to provide the cash so they may go out and purchase. The staff will prepare the meals in the kitchen and serve accordingly at the place and time that you request. Any change left over from the purchase will be returned to the guests with receipts, where possible. The same applies to drinks, aside from drinking water, tea and coffee which are provided by the villa.

Made available for your convenience is also:-
• A ‘mini-bar’, where you can place your wines & spirit bottles etc
• Ice Bucket
• Single wine bottle cooler (Banana leaf covering)
• Two bottle ice cooler with stand (hard wood)

WiFi
WiFi access is provided at the villa. Guests who book for 3 nights or more are entitled to free access up to a maximum of IDR 550,000. Guests wishing to continue to access the WiFi network after the initial IDR 550, 000 has been used up can do so but will have to pay cash and the staff will arrange for additional access from the internet company.

Conditions

A deposit of 50% is required by bank transfer to confirm the reservation, it is confirmed with a copy of bank transfer receipt faxed or emailed to Bayanaka villa within 5 working days by the guest. If deposit is not received in time we cannot guarantee your booking and as such may be cancelled.

Final payment by bank transfer is required at least 30 days prior to the guests arrival.

If the reservation is made less than 30 days before arrival, full payment is required to secure the booking.

Echo Beach Bar & Restaurant. Located 20 minutes away positioned overlooking the Indian Ocean. A family informal restaurant that has an extensive menu at very reasonable prices. The restaurant also delivers food and drinks and a menu is available at the bar. Please ask the housekeeper to order for you.

Tugu Hotel, Canngu. Part of a chain of boutique hotels and restaurants.The chain is famous for its traditional décor and antiques collected by the owners from all over the archipelago. The restaurant specializes in Indonesian cuisine using traditional recipes from the past. Hotel prices apply, but well worth a visit to see the décor alone!.

Bali Deli on Sunset road, a fashionable deli with both a huge selection of local and imported foods and wines as well as other essentials. It has an outdoor restaurant popular with expatriates especially at lunch times.

Seminyak Area. Approximately 35 minutes away. A popular strip lined with fashionable clothes shops as well as a multitude of restaurants that offer all variety of foods at varying prices. The better known restaurants include:- Ku-de-ta, The Living Room, Rumours, etc.
