Do you like to bath in the sea but don't want to miss a pool? If it is so, then the apartment „Sonnenstrahl“is the right choice for you. Welcome!

This modern apartment with a size of 109 m² is located in Son Bauló, a quiet zone of the village Can Picafort. You reach the fine grained sand beach and the sea promenade in just a few minutes walking. The use of the shared outdoor pool, which is situated 250 meters from the apartment, is included in the price. The pool is opened from May to October and is used by several guests.

The apartment is located on the second floor and offers space for 6 persons. There is no elevator in the building. Two of the bedrooms are equipped with single beds; the third one counts with a double bed. There are two bathrooms in total; one with shower cabin and one with bath tub. The apartment has no air conditioning but we are pleased to supply fans on request.

The balcony has views over a small pine wood and is the perfect corner for a large breakfast. It is furnished with a table and 6 chairs. The living area with its cozy sofa is the perfect place to read a good book or watch television (satellite TV). The fully equipped kitchen counts with everything you may need during your holidays: a toaster, microwave, dishwasher, electric oven, vitro ceramic hob and a refrigerator-freezer. Furthermore there is a washing machine, a tumble dryer, an iron and ironing board in the apartment. Pets are not allowed.

Sonnenstrahl is the right choice if you are searching for individual holidays with the whole family.

NOTE: The rental of this property is based on the Spanish Law on Urban Leases (29/1994, 24th November). According this law the property is available for seasonal renting. However, the contract does not offer any tourist service. It is only for the use and enjoyment of the property.

The Mallorca/Majorca region

The location of the apartment is perfect because you have everything you may need in walking distance: the sand beach, a big variety of restaurants, snack bars, a pharmacy, shops, supermarkets,a medical center and a bus station. The bus goes every 15 minutes to Alcúdia old town, Puerto de Pollençaother directions like Palma. The fine grained sand beach is only 250 meters away from the apartment.There you will find a nice bar where you can watch the sun goes down having a drink. You could rent sun loungers and sun shades for a charge. Directly next to the sand beach of Son Bauló starts a natural beach area which connects Can Picafort with Son Serra de Marina. This natural beach area leads past old ruins („Nekropolis“) and small lighthouses until the small town Son Serra de Marina. If you like to walk, you could go to the public Finca „Son Real“ where different animals are housed.

In Can Picafort you will find lots of restaurants for every kind of taste; fresh fish, excellent meat, pizza and pasta, tapas and typical Majorcan cuisine. If you feel a bit hungry, the numerous snack bars offer sandwiches, hamburgers and salads. For your coffeetea break you will find lots of cafeterias on the promenade. There are also lots of shops there; beside shops for clothes, shoes and souvenirs you will easily find big and small supermarkets for grocery shopping. The next big supermarkets are located on the main road direction Puerto de Alcúdiathe other side to Son Serra de Marina. You will find also 2 gas stations there.

Can Picafort

By car or bus you could easily reach other nice beach areas like Playa de Muro, Playa de Formentor, Son Serra de Marina, Alcúdia old town, Puerto de AlcúdiaPuerto de Pollença. The old town of Alcúdia with its little cobbled streets is a must see. Visit the old squares, the church and the town walls where you can also walk around the top of the old town. Lots of small bars and good restaurants invite you to stop off for a coffeea snack and take it all in. On Tuesday and Sunday there is market day in Alcúdia and the town turns into a busy place with lots of people. Don?t forget to visit the Roman Ruins including a villa, a bull-ring and an amphitheatre.
