About the home

Very close to the beach and centre. Doorstep distance to all bars, restaurants and entertainment.Our apartment has a sea view from the terrace.It is a new building and has all the amenities a family could require .There are no hidden extras ,gas and electicity are paid by me .You just enjoy your holiday.One minutes walk from the beach.

Safe on street parking, or garage space available if prefered. One minutes walk from the beach.Can Picafort has a seven mile long stretch of sand. The longest beach on the island!

The Mallorca/Majorca region

Mallorca is an island on the crossroads of history.The Tramuntana runs down the backbone of Mallorca providing spectacular views and wildlife found nowhere else in the Mediterranean. Can Picafort is on the edge of the S Albufera natural park which hosts a multitude of migrating birds from South Africa and as far as Siberia.Winter sun in Mallorca is legendary ,while summer and Autumn will satisfy even the most determined sunseeker.The scenery of the unknown Mallorca remains to be discovered ,and is well worth the visit.

The Can Picafort area

Can Picafort is situated on a seven mile long beach, in the bay of Alcudia, in the north of the island.Even though it is a bustling holiday resort with all the entertainment the holidaymaker requires ,it is also a small Spanish town with a large permenant population, of various nationalities,and maintains that essential "something"that sets it apart from the typical holiday resort.The main fiesta is in August , a week long celebration which culminates in a spectacular display of music and fireworks, the like of which is rarely seen. Can Picafort also boasts a Neolithic site along the beach in an eastward direction.Truly it has something for everyone.

“A Fantastic place to stay and very helpfully owners” The appartment has three bedrooms, 2 double and 1 with bunk beds, the owners allowed us to split the bunk beds into two singles as my children are 15 and 12, you have a kitchen area which has plenty of equipment to do basic cooking, the bathroom had a shower over the bath but this was hard to get the right temperature either too hot or cold but this did not bother us, nothing was to much trouble for the owners Anne and her husband, Antonio, Antonio met us at the flat when we arrived and showed us around and told us were to shop etc. Any questions we had they were more than happy to answer them for you via text or phone.
