There are two lovely bathrooms, both with hand-painted ceramic tiles, one with bathtub and the other with shower. The Umbria region

Welcome to the Castello di Campello for Italian cultural tourism at its best. It sits on a hillside in the midst of the "Green Heart of Umbria" and neighboring, beautiful Spoleto, home to some of the greatest art of the Italian Renaissance, and in particular,to the magnificent frescoes in its Cathedral painted by Fra Filippo Lippi. Of course, Spoleto is known for the Spoleta Festival of Arts, Music and Opera. You also will be near to so many other extraordinary towns, filled with artistic treasures, that you will want to spend not a week, but a season.
Do not miss Spello, Todi, Narni, Perugia, and the not faraway Tuscan towns of Montepulciano, Montalcino, and even Siena. And when art gives way to more Epicurian desires, you are in the region of some Italy's and the world's greatest wines and foods. You won't want to miss the various truffles in season at various times of the year. In Spoleto, try the rstaurant "Il Tartufo"; in Siena, "La Taverna San Giuseppe", and right in Campello, the charming "Le Casaline" which you will want to visit many times. When you are sated, you will enjoy hiking, biking, and horse-riding in some of the most splendid countryside imaginable.
The Campello sul Citurnno area
Campello Sul Clitunno is also renowned for its springs wth curitive waters and Fountain, mentioned in the works of Propertius, Virgil, and Pliny back in the Roman times, and later by George Byron, Corot, and Carducci. These famous waters form a charming little lake, which was sacred to the romans who built temples there in honour of Clitunno, the god of the river.
Spoleto is best known for the world famous Spoleto Festival which takes place every year from mid-June to the late July. One of the major Italian and international festivals, it offers the best in art music, and theatre. Itwas the inspiration for the Charleston,South Carolina, carrying the same name. Umbria’s Festival is a meeting point for Italian, American, and European cultures.
Campello is not far from Assissi, an renowned tourist attraction known for its most famous citizen, St. Francis, proclaimed a saint in 1228, founder of the Franciscan order and patron saint of Italy. It is also know for its famous frescoed Cathedral, and its excellent antique “Mercato”
For wine tourism, do not miss the town of Montefalco, well known for its full-bodied wine, produced with 100% Sagrantino grapes. It obtained the D.O.C. label in 1979 and D.O.C.G in 1992.

Guestbook for Castello di Campello
A pleasant country house tastefully furnished in an imposing building and beautiful views of olive groves and Spoleto in the distance. The terrace is very pleasant and there is always a breeze so you never suffer the heat. Photos of the announcement are fair and there are no surprises.
