The oak studded door opens into the spacious living room with comfortable seating area, Satellite TV, DVD and cathedral style ceilings creating a naturally summer cooling ambience. An inner stone archway leads into the dining room with twin doors opening to the poolside terraces. The modern, well fitted open plan kitchen has all modern requirements including marble work top, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric cooker/oven and eye-level fitted cupboards containing many extra implements.
The romantic master double bedroom has coved lighting, stone wall features, fitted wardrobes and is adjacent to the beautiful full bath/shower room with Romanesque tiling. The second bedroom is an attractive twin with oak fitted wardrobes.
Only ten meters from the cottage is the stone clad casita with an open plan living room with sofa bed for one extra person, one shower room and laundry area with the washing machine.
The furnishings throughout are of the highest quality all helping create a very pleasing and homely ambience.

The colourful gardens surround the brand new 8m swimming pool and has child friendly roman steps and comfortably furnished sun terraces where you can totally relax. Enjoy the tranquility and enjoy tasty cooked meals on the covered dining patio - all freshly cooked on the poolside brick BBQ. The views from these terraces are truly memorable. This is an ideal holiday retreat for walkers, cyclists and bird watchers. Another "must" is to visit the Campanet caves with an underground cavern.

In the North of the island, Pollenca, Campanet and Buger have the dramatic backdrop of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range, with its myriad of little villages nestling between its peaks. Great cuisine is never far away, with each village or town offering many interesting and unique restaurants serving local sourced ingredients. As the secrets of Mallorca are slowly unravelled, so its popularity increases.
The Campanet area
Campanet is a town that remains largely untouched by the development of tourism on the island, and as such offers an authentic Mallorcan experience. The pretty Plaza Major at the centre of the town plays host to an excellent fresh produce market on Tuesdays and Saturdays and offers several local restaurants, bars and shops. The countryside in this part of Mallorca is breakthtaking, oft with the dramatic Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range setting the scene. The old town of Pollenca is only 15 minutes drive away, so you never far from a broader array of shops and services. Puerto Pollenca and Cala Sant Vicenc are the nearest beaches and are just 15-20 mins away.

We found this a lovely place to have a completely relaxing, quiet holiday. The facilities provided in the property were more than adequate to suit all requirements. Bedrooms comfortably with adequate space for clothes etc., the living areas spacious and comfortable and the kitchen provided everything one could require. The swimming pool area delightful and peaceful, with facilities to eat outside when required. Whilst providing seclusion still easy to reach more "tourist" areas and Palma with relative ease. Well recommended and good value. |
