Camelford is the Gateway to the beautiful Bodmin Moor with all its myths and legends waiting to be explored.
Port issac home to fishermans friends and Doc Martin is a short drive along the scenic coastal road.
Slaughterbridge close by if the site of King Arthur's last battle.
The town and immediate area offer excellent shopping and sporting facilities including golf and a leisure centre with 20m swimming pool, fitness studio and tennis courts. Visitors can stroll around the many varied and interesting shops, cafes and restaurants.
Both public houses The Masons Arms and the Darlington Inn serve excellent food, as do the Gurka restaurant (Indian food) award winning Fish and Chip shop Peckish and The Riverside Restaurant. There is also Four Seasons for light bites coffee and ice cream and Hong Kong Island (Chinese Takeaway).
