The West Country region

The coastline of North Cornwall stretches from Morwenstow to Bedruthan Steps, and is famous for its wonderful beaches and dramatic cliff scenery. Inland, the area has pleasant, unspoilt countryside, with deep wooded combes and stretches of high moorland. St. Tinney lies about half-way along this stretch of coast, and so is uniquely placed to explore the beaches either in the north or south of the area, as well as Devon; Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.

Camelford

St. Tinney Farm is located in the tiny hamlet of Otterham (place of otters), taking its name in turn from the River Otter, which runs through the farm. Otterham is referred to as Otrham in the Domesday Book of 1086, where it appears to be described as a fortified settlement.

"Excellent, friendly family run farm location"

A very warm welcome when we arrived continued throughout our stay. The accommodation is very well appointed & the location/ views nice. Being critical, the only negative was, whilst the bedding was of high quality, the bed was a little uncomfortable, but this is a matter of preference.
Simone is very helpful and the information available on local places to visit is good. The onsite pub is warm & welcoming with Mark happy to help your scrabble game go well!

We plan on returning in the future.

Thanks for a nice break.

Thank you very much for your wonderful review! I'm sorry you found the mattress not to your taste, if you had said that you found the mattress uncomfortable at the time, we would have changed it immediately. Although admittedly a little firm, the mattress was new this year and is of high quality. We understand that a good holiday involves a good night's sleep and so following your comments, we have now swapped this out for a new softer one. We look forward to seeing you again. With best wishes Phil Windley, St. Tinney Farm.
