REAL CORNWALL
Situated on the edge of Camelford, a 16th century historic market town steeped in history, you are perfectly placed for all that Cornwall has to offer. Just 20 minutes off the A30 you are in one of the largest (but still rather small) towns of the area offering all the shops, pubs and eateries that you will need. It is less than ten minutes to some of the best beaches in North Cornwall, Trebarwith, Polzeath and Bossiney are just some of the ones right on your doorstep. If you're lucky you can see dolphins, seals and basking sharks from the coastal paths and beaches. We are also just a short drive from Port Isaac, known for the Doc Martin series and Padstow home of celebrity chef Rick Stein and just a five minute drive from what in our opinion is one of the best views from a pub and restaurant in the whole of UK, the Port William of Trebarwith. The Famous Bodmin Moor and its rugged mystique, not to mention the highest points in Cornwall, Roughtor and Brown Willy are just a walk away. The great thing is once you are done for the day, you escape the tourist rat runs and relax in your own secluded property with everything on your doorstep but can be straight back into everything on offer in a matter of minutes.
FOOD LOVERS
For the chef and food lovers we have a fully fitted Miele Kitchen with everything you could think of including a Steam oven, bread oven, coffee corner including your own personal roasting machine and grinder for the freshest coffee available. A large oak dining table is a perfect setting for group meals.
ENTERTAINMENT
For those quiet nights in we have a Bang and Olufsen Home entertainment system with some of the highest standard surround sound and a huge library of DVDs, games and books all at your disposal and if people clash with their viewing schedule then we have a second lounge with Large flat screen TV and surround sound and of course sky plus and Broadband.
For the days out at the beaches we have a selection of wetsuits, surfboards, snorkels and beach games all free for our guests use and for when you return a luxury hot tub for you to soak away the hours overlooking the valley and the river. After that then why not watch the sun go down on our huge balcony whilst BBQing away on our large Drum BBQ, if it gets chilly then just throw some wood on the open log fire in the lounge and hunker down for the night.
BED TIME
For the sleepers amongst you we provide only 100% egyptian cotton bed linen and high quality mattresses, including a heated double waterbed in one of the rooms.
