The East Anglia region

East Anglia offers visitors many attractions. In Cambridge is the University, established over 800 years ago. In Ely is, of course, the famous Ely Cathedral. And while you're there, take a tour of Oliver Cromwell's home. Travel north to the coast for some spectacular bird watching, or travel along the east coast for some delicious seafood.

Hiring a bike is a great way to see Cambridge. Cycle to the market or take a day trip along the river. You can also punt along the river to Granchester Meadows. And while you're there, have tea at the Granchester Tea Gardens.

Cambridge is full of good restaurants and cafés. Try the Margarita on Bridge Street or the Rice Boat on Queen Street. Catch a show at the Arts Theatre or see what's playing at the Corn Exchange.

For a cinema going experience, try the Arts Cinema on Regent Street. Or for something completely different, picnic in the college gardens while watching Shakespheare during the Shakespeare in the Park series - usually in July and August.

"Quiet location and comfortable"

We stayed on three different occasions during May and June 2013. The property is in a quiet location but within easy reach of the centre of Cambridge - a 20 minute walk at the most. Plenty of room for parking a vehicle. The property is like a mini townhouse with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It is well maintained and Heather was a delight to deal with. It is ideal for a couple.
