This delightful detached barn conversion and cosy wing have been refurbished to a high standard providing a great base from which you can tour the whole of Cornwall.

Many excellent beaches on the north coast are within easy reach including the popular bays of Portreath, Porthtowan and Perranporth, not forgetting the 3 miles of golden sands at Hayle, 5 miles away with shops, pubs and restaurants. A 15 minute drive takes you into the vibrant fishing town of Falmouth, with its Maritime Museum, restaurants, galleries and shops. Other attractions in the area include the Blue Reef Aquarium and Zoo at Newquay, The Minack Open-Air Theatre, and many National Trust properties and gardens are well worth a visit. From the property, follow the farm lane down to the Red River with its excellent views and footpath to Gwithian Sands.

Amenities: both properties have ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. 1 small dog by arrangement. Regret no smoking. Additional info: 2 very tame and friendly donkeys on site to stroke. Location: nearest beach 5 miles, shop, pubs and restaurants 2 miles at Camborne.

Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with woodburner effect electric fire, flatscreen TV, Freeview, DVD, kitchen with electric cooker, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine. Outside: enclosed garden that surrounds the property with seating and BBQ. Access from the lounge area to the garden is via some external steps. Amenities: heating surcharge of £50 November - March, payable to owner on arrival.
