Home description
Rye Bay Beach House can be the perfect getaway, romantic hideaway or a home from home for the family. Providing enough space to sleep up to 4/6 people, the house has one double with en suite and one twin bedroom with further sleeping in the garden room. There is a bathroom also on the first floor. The interiors have been designed in a retro/vintage style creating plenty of natural light and a sense of space. Lots of luxurious and individual touches have been added - amenities include Egyptian cotton bed linens, comfy high quality mattresses and bedding. The kitchen includes a toaster, juicer, dishwasher, microwave, good quality tableware and much more. The exterior is designed with cedar shingles and colourful curved turrets to give a contemporary feel. There is a decked balcony on each floor and a patio that leads onto the communal landscaped gardens - we would like to make you aware as this is a new development the area has just been planted and needs time to grow, however we hope this should not have any impact on your stay.

The South East England / Sussex region
The South East is generally warmer and dryer than the rest of the UK. Camber has its own micro-climate with little rain in comparison to it's surrounding areas.
Camber is 3 miles from Rye a historic town perched on a hill, overlooking the River Rother and Romney Marsh. With cobbled streets, medieval church and beautifully preserved historic houses from medieval, Tudor and Georgian times. Full of places to eat and drink.
Camber Sands has the award winning Blue Flag beach and rolling dunes provide the perfect setting for a family day out, romantic get away or, for the more adventurous, some extreme sports including sand yachting, kite buggying and kite surfing. Camber is the perfect destination for a visit any time of the year.
Camber area
The beautiful sandy beach at Camber is a great place for swimming, windsurfing, kitesurfing, buggying, and walking.
Rye Watersports (less than 10mins drive) provides kitesurfing, windsurfing, and dinghy sailing courses for all abilities on its safe inland lake.
Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway is a great family outing. You can take the train to Dungeness, to see Derek Jarman's cottage, and visit the lighthouse to experience fantastic views of the surrounding areas
Walkers can experience the Romney Marsh as well as the local walks and vast stretch of Camber Beach.
Rye Golf Course is 5 minutes by car and approx 15 minutes walk from Camber.
How to get there
By car: Camber is 2 miles off the A259 just to the East of Rye, about mid-way between Hastings and Ashford in Kent. From London/M25, take the M20 to junction 10, A2070 and A259 towards Brenzett it's about 30 minute drive.
By train: To Rye Station. Hourly direct train service from Ashford International (20 minutes), Hastings (20 minutes), Eastbourne and Brighton. Trains to Ashford from Lille Europe (55 mins), London Waterloo East (57 mins), London Charing Cross (61 mins), London Victoria (75 mins), and Paris Nord (2 hours).
By bus: From Rye station, the 100 bus runs hourly taking about 10 minutes (connecting from Ashford International trains).

Further details indoors: Rye Bay Beach House is arranged over three floors. The top floor has a light and spacious master bedroom and en suite shower room. It has a very comfortable queen size bed, plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space.
The second floor comprises of the main bathroom with shower and WC and a twin bedroom. This room has two comfortable white wrought iron single beds.
Egyptian cotton linen is used in for all bedding.
The first floor is where the light and airy lounge/dining/open plan kitchen are situated. The lounge has a TV and DVD player to watch on comfortable seating. The kitchen is well equipped.
The ground floor has an integral garage which accesses a large garden/den room. There is a double futon, TV, DVD and an eclectic selection of books, DVD's and games. A perfect space for young children and teenagers to hang out.
Further details outdoors: There is further parking for an additional car in front of the garage.
From the main living/dining room there is a large decked balcony, (with table and chairs) stepping down to the communal garden. The master bedroom also has a private balcony with a small breakfast table and chairs. The twin bedroom has a small turret balcony. The garden/den room leads onto a patio area with an out door shower for rinsing off sand and picnic table.

Conditions
The property is arranged over three floors and has wooden stairs, so is not suited to toddlers and the less mobile.
A deposit of 30 per cent is payable to secure your booking. The remaining balance plus a security deposit of £100 is payable 8 weeks before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded at the end of the stay, less the cost of any damage or breakages.
Pets are welcome with an additional fee of £20 charged per pet.
