A modern, light and spacious house with sea views of the picturesque sandy beaches of Camber Sands a stone's throw away. Set across three floors with oak flooring, white wooden stairs and contemporary furnishings, Seadrift is an idyllic seaside retreat. The property has a Visit England four star gold rating.

Local shops, cafes and the wonderful Beach Bistro restaurant are within walking distance. Beyond the seven mile stretch of sandy beach, windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing are available at the local watersports centre and the historic town of Rye is a short drive away for shops, pubs, restaurants, fresh seafood and a cream tea. Renowned walking and cycling routes around Rye and the Romney Marsh are highly recommended.

Ground Floor:

Tiled entrance hall with boot rack and coat hooks.

Utility Room with fridge, washing machine, sink and storage cupboard. Drying facilities.

First Floor:

Master Bedroom: Double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, chair and mirror, clothes rail.

En-Suite Bathroom: large shower, heated towel rail, washbasin and w.c.

Bedroom 2: twin room with bedside cabinet, storage shelving, stool, mirror and hooks for clothes hanging.

Bedroom 3: twin room with bedside cabinet, storage shelving, stool, mirror and hooks for clothes hanging.

Bathroom: Shower over the bath, heated towel rail, washbasin and w.c.

Second Floor:

Sitting Room/Kitchen/Diner: open plan with two comfortable sofas, side tables, TV/DVD/HD with Sky Plus, large dining table and chairs to seat six. Induction hob, electric oven and grill, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, double butler sink, microwave.

Garden: Shady patio with shingle borders, garden furniture, loungers, hammock and outside tap, hose and hot/cold shower. Secure bicycle shed.

Parking: Off street private parking for four cars in front of the house.

Heating: Oil central heating.

Also Provided: Baby changing mat, steriliser set, two stairgates and baby alarm.

Notes: With the loft style living area there is restricted headroom to the sides of the room.

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 10am.

Minimum stay is 3 nights. Rates are as follows:

3 nights: 75% of weekly rate

4 nights: 80% of weekly rate

5 nights: 85% of weekly rate

6 nights: 90% of weekly rate

We are unable to accommodate stag or hen parties.

About this location

The East Sussex region

Pure beach heaven, Camber Sands is a popular sandy beach, with picturesque dunes and interesting wildlife. The small village of Camber is very close to the beach with a selection of small convenience shops. There are also a number of beachside cafes and the wonderful Beach Bistro restaurant at The Gallivant Hotel, a short walk from the beach.

The closest town is Rye, which is a few miles away. A picturesque market town with cobbled streets housing antique shops, gift shops, art galleries, book shops and potteries, delightful tea shops serve delicious homemade cakes and scones, splendid old inns serve locally brewed real ale and there are a wide variety of fine restaurants to suit every taste and pocket.
