White Sand Holiday Cottages are a collection of attractive, traditionally-styled, brick and weather-boarded cottages that have been furnished and equipped to a high standard, combining modern luxuries with traditional design for the perfect seaside retreat. Ulwandle, meaning "The Soul of the Sea”, is a 2 bedroom seaside holiday cottage conveniently located just minutes from the miles of golden sands at Camber Sands Beach. This charming cottage offers lovely open plan living and has been decorated in a modern and comfortable style. The property has lovely distant views overlooking the marshes at Romney and is just a short 5-10 minute drive away from historic Rye and Winchelsea. A perfect getaway cottage at any time of the year - "Welcome to the Soul of the Sea"!
A white picket fence leads up to the front door. Outside table and chairs to enjoy the start of the day with the sun and beautiful views across the distant marshes over a small stream in front of the house.
Front entrance with handy hanging space for coats, hats, shoes, boots buckets and spades. Through into the open plan sitting room and kitchen area which includes a kitchen bar and chairs.
The main sitting area has a sofa, two chairs, footstool and side tables - a great area to relax, watch a film, or just read a book. There is plenty of indoor entertainment with a 32" LED TV including a DVD player and Sky TV with Sky Sports and Sky Movies. The Bose docking system offers great audio entertainment and the property also has Wi-Fi access.
The delightfully modern kitchen has a bespoke breakfast bar with high backed chairs, ideal for breakfast on the go before the day on the beach or for that perfect home cooked meal in the evening. Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, electric hob, double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee and pasta machines.
Utility room with washing machine/dryer, microwave and bread making machine. Downstairs Cloakroom with WC and basin. Through the utility room to the back door and fully enclosed outside decking area that is furnished with plants, table and chairs, umbrella and BBQ for outdoor entertaining. An ideal space for lazy summer evenings or sundowners after a day on the beach.
Master bedroom with hand-made rustic double bed, bedside table and lights, walk-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, 27" LED TV with Freeview and bedside alarm clock radio with iPod docking station. Second bedroom with twin beds, bedside chest of drawers, digital radio and lamp and hanging space for clothes.
Family bathroom with bath (shower over), basin and WC.
Wi-Fi, Sky TV, Sports and Movies, selection of DVDs, Bose ipod docking system. Board games, books, beach towels, beach games, parasol, windbreak, cool bag. Hairdryer, towels, bedlinen. bread maker, pasta machine, microwave. Travel cot and high chair.

Prices include bedlinen, towels, all utilities, pre-arrival and departure cleaning and a welcome pack that changes with the seasons. The changeover day for weekly bookings is a Saturday to Saturday in the high season. Other start days may be possible on request in the low and mid-season. Short breaks may commence on any day.

Camber has become a popular place for water sports and it is a great place for kite surfing, windsurfing, water skiing, wake boarding and jet skiing that are all available locally either from the beach or on a large coastal lake just outside Camber. There is also sailing on the river Rother 3 miles from Camber.
For swimming, the beach boasts a yellow flag award from the MCS, the highest UK award for water quality standards. Golf lovers are well catered for with an impressive 44 courses within a 30 mile radius. Tennis courts and bicycle hire are also available locally. There are many local walks with natural and historical points of interest.
The village of Camber has a couple of pubs including The Dunes café and restaurant, and the award-winning Gallivant Bistro Restaurant which has a range of delicious dishes made from local, free range and organic ingredients with BBQ's in the summer. The Kit Kat Cafe is ideal for children being located right on the beach on the beach. The medieval town of Rye is about an 8 min drive and this also offers an excellent selection of pubs, cafés and restaurants. Alternatively buy and barbecue your own fresh seafood!
