White Sand Holiday Cottages are a collection of attractive, traditionally-styled, brick and weather-boarded cottages that have been furnished and equipped to a high standard, combining modern luxuries with traditional design for the perfect seaside retreat. The cottages are ideally located in a new village-style development just a few minutes' walk from Camber Sands, a Blue Flag beach. Camber is a seaside village bordering 7 miles of sandy beach. It has the only sand dune system in East Sussex. There are many cafes, two of which are literally on the beach, a few chip shops, general stores, post office, shops selling beach goods, pubs and The Gallivant Restaurant serves very good food. Camber is a very popular film location and has been featured in many films including The Longest Day, Dunkirk, Carry on Follow that Camel, The Monuments Men, The Invisible Women and The Theory of Everything to name a few! The local 100 bus runs hourly from Camber to Rye.

Rye, an ancient cobbled town, is just 3 miles away. In Rye you will discover many cafes, restaurants and many independent shops including antique shops. An added attraction is the newly opened Kino digital cinema boasting two screens! Wonderfully disguised in an old listed building and this is centrally situated near the church. The town is just perfect for pottering - amble from street to street taking in the delights of such an historic and picturesque place. The BBC drama 'Mapp & Lucia' was filmed in Rye last year.

Whitebeam Cottage is an immaculately presented white weatherboarded holiday house just minutes to Camber Sands Blue Flag beach; views to the dunes at the front, and Romney Marsh to the rear. One king-size bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms - twin bedrooms can be made up as singles or doubles. Double aspect sitting room with French doors leading out to a very pretty decked and pebbled walled garden with table and chairs. This is a real sun trap in the morning and early afternoon and is the perfect spot for quietly reading and relaxing. The owners have carefully chosen their plants to give vibrant colour and foliage throughout the seasons. There is also an additional bench in front of the cottage so you can soak up the evening sun aswell! The cottage sits in a quiet and peaceful cul-de-sac with Romney Marsh to the rear............. making Whitebeam Cottage a very popular holiday choice.

The house is light, spacious and very well equipped. It has lovely views to the dunes at the front and Romney Marsh to the rear. It is just perfect for families, this cottage offers flexible accommodation with one king size bedroom and two twin bedrooms with single beds that can be made up as superking beds.

The double aspect sitting room with French doors leads out to a pretty decked and pebbled outside area with table and chairs to sit and relax at, surrounded by plants and a tree. There is an additional wooden garden bench in the front garden to catch the afternoon sun.

Ground floor

Entrance hall with stairs leading up to first floor and sitting room on the left and kitchen/dining room on the right. Downstairs cloakroom with WC and basin.

The sitting room is open plan and light and airy with a flat screen TV, Freeview and DVD player. Two sofas and two armchairs with coffee table, lights, book case, books and games and a supply of DVD films. The front windows have conveniently adjustable shutters. French doors lead out to a rear decking area and pebbled garden with table and chairs and an additional cafe style table and four chairs in the pebbled area. A charcoal barbecue is provided for outdoor dining.

Fully stocked kitchen/dining room with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, radio, kitchen window looking out over garden area. Lovely kitchen table with table and 8 chairs, French shutters.

Downstairs cloakroom with WC and basin. Understairs cupboard with ironing board, drying rack

To the left at the top of the stairs is a master bedroom with kingsize bed, bedside table and lamps, chest of drawers. Large fitted wardrobe with full length mirror. Ensuite shower room with basin and WC. A second bedroom with twin beds that can be made up as singles or a kingsize bed. Bedside table and lamp. Chest of drawers, mirror and hook board for hanging clothes. Third double bedroom with kingsize bed that can also be made up as singles, bedside table and lights, chair, mirror and vintage hookboard.

Additional amenities

Charcoal BBQ, Wi-Fi Access. Cafetiere, selection of DVD's, CD radio with iPod docking system, board games, books, beach towels, beach games, deck chairs, hairdryer. Towels, bedlinen, high chair,stairgate and travel cot. Parking for two cars.

Booking information

Strictly no smoking in this property and no pets. Prices include bedlinen, towels, all utilities, pre-arrival and departure cleaning and a welcome pack.

The changeover day for weekly bookings is a Saturday in the high season. Other start days may be possible on request in the low and mid-season. Short breaks may commence on any day. There is a £24 booking fee per holiday and a £250 security deposit is required prior to arrival which can be pre-authorised on a credit/debit card.

The prices quoted on holiday lettings do not reflect our seasonal banding.
