"Lovely cottage close to the beach - great for children and dogs!"
Sea Holly Cottage is a lovely cottage close to the beautiful Camber beach and sand dunes. We all (2 adults, 3 teenagers and a dog) felt very comfortable. It is very well equipped and nicely decorated. Nice touches included a well stocked larder, a good welcome pack and treats for the dog. There was also very good information on walks and dog friendly pubs!

"A delightful comfortable cottage, very well presented with a homely feel."
We stayed for the weekend and were very pleased with the everything about this holiday cottage. It was very comfortable, lovely lounge and beds gave us a good nights sleep. Everything has been thought through and the quality was to a very high standard. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The whole cottage was very clean and fresh. The sun shone as well giving an extra bonus for us to use the beach, which made my whole weekend delightful. Thank you to both Laura and Adrian, I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

"Beautiful and extremely well-equipped"
The cottage itself was decorated to a very high standard, with everything you could imagine provided for - board games and children's books, even dog bowls! The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds very comfortable; my family and I had an excellent time. The location was just 10 minutes' walk from the beach, which was ideal for us. The caretaker was very helpful as well. All in all, highly professionally run and well worth a visit!

"Lovely modern cottage with everything you need and more"
We stayed at this cottage in June and it was absolutely perfect. 5 minutes walk to the beach and a few local shops (Nisa, Premier) located in a quiet setting of cottages. The living space is perfect for 5 people, more provided than we hoped for (tv, dvd, wifi, board games, bbq) as well as whay you would expect clean rooms, linens, microwave, utensils etc. We were more than pleased with our stay and already considering returning to Sea Holly Cottage, would recommend 5/5

We visited in February for a long weekend break; myself, my husband, 11 year old daughter and our dog. The cottage is wonderful: exactly as it looks on the website; immaculate, tastefully decorated, the best equipped kitchen I've ever found in a rental cottage, flufy bath towels, comfortable beds.....the list goes on. Truly everything there to make our weekend perfect. I thought the concierge service was great, a really helpful man met us at the property, showed us round, and showed us the shortcut to the beach. There were helpful leaflets and info on the local area and plenty of books, DVDs and games to keep you occupied for a month! The cottage is ideally situated for the beach (a 5 minute stroll) and Rye very nearby (10 mins drive). We were lucky with the weather and walked into Rye one day along a lovely footpath by the golf course - I would really recommend it. Overall fabulous and I would definitely stay again.

"Well thought-out and luxurious cottage close to lovely Camber Sands."
Great accommodation, well equipped, tastefully and peacefully decorated. Lots of lovely little touches like home made marmalade and provisions waiting for us. Everything we could need was catered for. White Sands is close to the beach, which is glorious and there are many places of interest and great places to buy and try food nearby. Loved it!

"A beautifully decorated and comprehensively equipped cottage"
We had a fantastic four day break at Sea Holly which is ideally located to explore East Sussex and the South Downs. The weather was favourable for the time of year and allowed us to make the most of each day.

"A tastefully decorated and well equipped holiday home"
Sea Holly Cottage was a delight from the start of our weekend break with stunning weather thrown in for the perfect package. The cottage is in a superb location, literally 5 mins from the fantastic beach and sand dunes. We are two adults plus 17, 13 year olds and our dog. The keyholder met us as arranged, showed us around but did not spoil our own exploring of the rooms! A welcome pack (bread, milk, eggs, tea, coffee sachets etc) a lovely touch. . The house is tastefully decorated, superbly equipped and very very clean considering that dogs can stay too! Magazines, books, DVDs, cosy throws on the sofas all great touches. We often go to Camber for a day trip as we are only 1 hour away and always eat at the Green Owl Pub which allows dogs. We had a fantastic meal there - the staff are very friendly and attentive but definitely do book in advance over a weekend.

"Perfect weekend...when can we go back!!!"
We visited Sea Holly Cottage for a weekend break and only sorry that we didn't have longer there. The cottage is beautifully furnished and we all agreed that the beds are the most comfortable any of us had slept in for ages!! Spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed and more, with wonderfully soft fluffy towels. From the moment we arrived I felt like we had landed in complete luxury and found our surroudings (inside and out) peaceful and relaxing. Shops, restaurants and most importantly the beach are such a short walk away, we all got very excited when we spotted the sand dunes out of the kitchen window!! Even though we had a day of rain on our first day we felt so comfortable sitting around and chatting that we lost track of time, it was like home from home (although I wish my home was as stylish!!). Our second day was sunny and bright, perfect for a beach walk. It was a shame to have to come back and pack our things to leave. We had a superb stay in Sea Holly Cottage and I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends, it really is a credit to the owners who have done a wonderful and thoughtful job preparing the cottage for guests. I very much look forward to returning sometime and thank you for a lovely stay!!

We stayed with another couple (along with their 2yr old and house trained dog). The owners have done a fabulous job decking the house out in contemporary furniture that befits its coastal location. The kitchen is equipped with all that you need - we cooked most nights and never missed any equipment ... even has a Weber BBQ in the courtyard garden! There is a dishwasher and washing machine (particularly handy for us as we are on the road for 2 months). The welcome by John was terrific, and he made sure we knew everything about the house as well as some local attractions (in Rye). The beach is a 5 minute stroll and was handy for exercising the dog and the 2 yr old. One feature of the location that we were not expecting was a fairly strong smell! It's definitely not the house ... seems to be from the beach? We couldn't find anything on Google about it, other than other reviews also mentioning the smell. It's not apparent all the time, but seems to come in waves. With doors and windows closed, it wasn't a problem. Not bad enough to keep you from going, just a word of warning! There was a welcome pack which had Laura's delicious marmalade - it was very popular with us. All in all it was a quiet and peaceful holiday, particularly for our friends who work long hours in London. Rye itself is terrific and has some great delis, bakeries and cafes. In particular, Knoops chocolate cafe is amazing! They know their chocolate and have an artisan approach to making a hot chocolate ... strongly recommend trying out a number of their concoctions! They're located near the landgate on the 'far' side of town (away from the harbour).
