Originally built for the farmers own occupation our guests are the first to live here! The farmer will bring you fresh tomatoes and invites you to pick the herbs and fruit from their adjoining land.
Art and history lovers will find numerous towns and villages to visit in the neighbourhood including enchanting Pietrasanta. Food and wine lovers will rediscover age-old dishes and have the opportunity to try out new flavours in this area renouned as a gourmets paradise.
The poolside area is lush with olive trees, the blossom of oleanders and enjoys panoramic views over the gentle surrounding hills. Our guests here will appreciate an excellent standard of accommodation combined with the idyllic country setting yet so close to Camaiore town and the sea where guests of Pino Alto may use an umbrella on the beach at Lido di Camaiore from 1.30pm each afternoon.

The Tuscany region
This villa is situated on the Tuscan Riviera which has been Bridgewater's 'special part of Italy since 1973' and was chosen by the Sunday Times Travel Supplement March 20 as an "all star destination" in Italy. Our villas on the Tuscan coast with it's stunning mountain backdrop, wide golden beaches & beautiful countryside are only 30 mins from Pisa airport, 20 minutes from Lucca, 1 hour from Florence, Portofino & the Cinque Terre.
This area of Tuscany is unbeatable for a destination which offers the best of all worlds. Elegant beach clubs, beautiful countryside, chaming cities full of art, history, stunning architecture and culture, designer boutiques, excellent restaurants, art-exhibitions and pretty hillside villages where you will find the most delicious, authentic Tuscan cuisine!
Camaiore / Montebello area
Montebello is an area of natural beauty with lush greenery and fantastic views. The locals are keen to point out that you don't have pylons in the area ruining the beautiful views!!
Camaiore is a market town of Roman origins with many great traditional restaurants. it is a truly Italian town, unspoilt by tourists. There are many great delis where you can buy local produce to take home & enjoy whilst taking in the fabulous view.
How to get there
Pisa is the nearest airport to fly to for this property. (Bologna, Florence & Genoa are also within reasonable distance). The journey from the airport can be made either by hire car, taxi or train in to Pietrasanta station. Bridgewater can arrange bike hire and beach club membership prior to departure as well as other 'Finishing Touches' such as hampers etc.
Pisa airport is well serviced by the majority of lowcost airlines from all around the UK, flycheapo.com have a timetable of which low cost airlines fly where.
The villa is only around 30km from the airport.
Most car hire companies have desks at Pisa airport and good deals are available. A good tip is for one person to go straight to the car hire desk whilst others wait for the luggage - this way you beat the queues!

Further details indoors: Recently built, the house stands on a gentle sloping hilliside with stunning panoramic views across the valley. The property is divided into two separate units, Casa Pino Alto and Casa Pino Basso, entered via an independent driveway from a private road at the lower end of the estate. There is an external stairway between the apartments leading to the olive grove where the pool is located.

Further details outdoors: The gated pool complex includes changing room, shower and W.C. is separated from the house by a paved pathway making this a good choice for families with children. On arrival guests will find a small arrival pack and a bottle of wine with our compliments.

HEATING: Bridgewater’s Bellaglen villas and apartments are heated during the winter period November to March. Individual heating charges are available on request.
INVENTORY DEPOSITS: A security deposit is required, to be held by us against unpaid local accounts or damages. You can pledge the security deposit by Credit Card authorisation,which is cancelled as soon as we receive advice from Italy that no charges are due. ARRIVALS: between 1600-1900hrs.
DEPARTURES: by 0900hrs. Pool open 24/5 - 27/9 outside these dates a supplement of £100 per week is payable to open the pool.

30% deposit required to confirm booking. Balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
