Brooming's Attic is a quirky place to stay in a fantastic location.

Newly constructed apartment in the attic of a traditional stone built Cornish cottage and on the edge of the River Tamar.

The centrally heated apartment has a separate shower room with designer fittings and a washing machine, a compact kitchenette with dishwasher, combination microwave oven and hob.

The main living space has a TV, a top quality wall bed and a Juliet balcony window with views across the Tamer Valley. The apartment has been fitted with character features including a reclaimed pine floor.

Calstock is a quiet village situated in the Tamar Valley ,it has excellent transport links by car, local bus and train. Access to Tavistock, Dartmoor and access is excellent to both the north and south coasts of Cornwall and Bodmin Moor.

Calstock has its own railway station and branch line from Plymouth with excellent connections to the north and London (4 hours + 30 mins to Calstock). There are two thriving village pubs serving excellent and affordable food, Calstock Arts Centre is adjacent to the property and well as a small gallery just few metres away. There is a good village shop (open all hours) and a hairdressers. A Tesco home delivery is possible if ordered in advance with the owners. Several local families 'grow their own' and sell free range eggs and vegetables at the garden gate.

The historic Cotehele House is a short walk through the woods and there are many other easy walking opportunities for keen ramblers. There is easily enough to do locally without a car for a few days. Canoe and cycle hire is also possible locally.
