The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca extends along that section of the Mediterranean coast which corresponds to the province of Alicante, is made up of two clearly differentiated scenic sectors. To the North, a curtain of mountains runs parallel to the sea, descending at times to form cliffs; to the South, a vast plain of sand patches, palm trees and salt deposits make up the backdrop for the beaches.

The temperatures are usually warm with the annual average a little higher than 18C. However this can vary between seasons from a very warm 30-35C during July and August to a milder 15-20C in those so called winter months. Rain is of course very scarce.


Calpe area

Calpe is the artist's town but it is also a port and a country town at the same time. An oasis in the most popular tourist region of the Costa Blanca. Calpe is the town of connoisseurs, the town chosen by the whole of Europe as its summer retreat. A privileged enclave beside the calm blue waters of the Mediterranean, where outstanding natural beauty, gastronomy, culture, the sea and the mountains are part of the everyday life of its inhabitants all year round. The Old Town is beginning to attract more and more visitors because it is becoming a very interesting part of the town. The accommodation sleeps 8/9 and includes 3 main bedrooms, one double with en suite walk in shower room plus double sinks, a further double bedroom with single bed and additional underbed and a final double bedroom in between 3 piece bathroom suite with both bath and private shower. There is also a sofa bed. All rooms lead to the open plan main living area which boasts lounge with Freeview Satellite TV, DVD, Video and stereo sound system.

The dining area, breakfast bar and modern kitchen with Whirpool dishwasher and Bosch oven provide a high quality finish. There is hot and cold air conditioning throughout making this an excellent family choice holiday.

Outside, the villa boasts a beautiful 12m x 6m length swimming pool on the raised area with outside shower and spectacular sea and Penon de Ifach views over Calpe. There is a gas BBQ for 'al fresco' dining along with outdoor kitchen and patio furniture. Whether it's sunbathing by the pool or staying cool in the shade a number of sun awnings are provided also.
