Access to the apartment is either from the underground secure parking place by direct lift or from the street entrance through a large secure entrance hall. The lift provides access to just 4 apartments on each level so it is very quiet and private.
The main entrance to the apartment opens out directly into the spacious dining area and lounge, flooded with sunlight streaming in through the large sliding terrace doors. The room is very simply but stylishly furnished to make your stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. A flat screen TV, with limited channels, a DVD player and library of DVD´s are provided along with a small selection of books.
The separate kitchen is equipped with all the utensils and equipment necessary to prepare a simple lunch right through to a gourmet meal. It features a ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, granite worksurfaces and sufficient crockery and glasses to cater for upto 6 people. A washing machine is also provided.
The bedroom is again very simply furnished with a double bed and bright white finish furniture, there are plenty of drawers and hanging space for all of your holiday needs. The bathroom features a fully enclosed shower cubicle.
The apartment is fitted with a hot/cold airconditioning system so what ever the time of year and weather outside, you can be assured of a comfortable temperature inside.

Both the lounge and bedroom have wide sliding doors which lead out onto the large sunny south facing terrace. This is equipped with a glass topped exterior table and chairs, and 2 reclining sun loungers - perfect for al fresco dining or just relaxing in the sun.
We can provide a fold up bed to enable a 3rd person to share if required.
For the benefit of all our guests we would kindly request that there is no smoking in the apartment but it is permitted on the balcony.
The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
You can of course spend your entire holiday without moving from Calpe but should you wish to explore further afield there is much to see and do in the surrounding area.
Both the major cities of Alicante and Valencia are worth a visit. Valencia, the home of the America Cup Yacht Race and the recent Formula 1 Grand Prix is undergoing much regeneration around the old commercial port area. Here you will find the base of the Americas Cup and the new marina complex. Close by is the new Science Museum, Oceanagraphic Sea World and Palau D´Arts Opera House, stunning architecture in their own right. The old town is not to be missed, spend a relaxing day and just soak up the atmosphere.
Alicante should not be missed either, a bustling vibrant city with the modern marina, old town and shopping area all within an easy walk. If you are feeling energetic take a walk to the top of the Santa Barbara Castle and enjoy the magnificent views overlooking the whole of the city.
About a 45 minute journey inland is the old fortified village of Guadalest perched high up on a rocky outcrop, the old village is accessed through a large doorway carved out of the rock.
Benidorm is about ½ hrs drive and offers many attractions for the whole family. There is Aqualandia, a large water park; Mundomar a sea life centre; Terra Mitica theme park and Terra Natura wildlife park combined with a small water park. Benidorm Palace offers glittering international cabarets with dinner.
Just outside Callosa d´En Sarria are the Fonts d´Algar, a series of refreshing springs and waterfalls set within a Nature Park. Impressive underground caves can be found at Benidoleig and Canalobre with stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousands of years.
A short scenic drive will take you to the Jalon and Orba Valleys, vast valley floors full of citrus trees or grape vines, sample some of the local wine in one of the bodegas in Jalon or take a stroll around one of the surrounding villages.
For a different day why not try the small single line railway, this will transport you along the coast south to Altea, Benidorm and beyond, and terminates at Denia to the north. The neighbouring coastal towns of Moraira, Javea, Altea and Denia are all worthy of a visit with their old traditional towns and their more modern tourist beach areas.
The Calpe area
Calpe has much to offer the visitor whether you want just a totally relaxing holiday or something a little more energetic. The area is dominated by the Penon d´Ifach rock rising 332 metres from the sea, blue flag beaches stretch out from both sides of this impressive landmark.
Take a stroll along the wide promenade stopping off along the way at the many beach side cafes to soak up the sun and admire the view. Relax on the long fine white sandy beaches and listen to the gentle lapping of the breaking waves.
For the more energetic of you a walk to the top of the Penon is a must, the views from here are just breathtaking. All sorts of water sports are available from windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing and canoeing. Bicycles can be hired and there is a Tennis Club nearby, the choices are endless.
Lunch can be enjoyed in one of the many fish restaurants in the port area at the base of the Penon. Here you will be tempted by the variety of local fish on display.
Boat trips are available from Calpe port taking you either north or south. For the evening what better place to spend it than in the old town with its narrow streets and local architecture, soaking up the atmosphere over a glass or two and a fine meal.

Many low cost airline carriers fly into Alicante (55 mins drive), Valencia (1hr 5 mins drive) or even San Javier Murcia airport (1hr 30 mins drive).
There is a coach service from Alicante airport, you have to change at Benidorm station and then catch a further coach from Benidorm to Calpe bus station, details of the routes and timetables can be found on the website www.alsa.es (available in English). Taxis are available but the cost of your arrival and return journey will generally exceed the cost of a week´s car hire, also we are sure you will want to explore the surrounding area as well.

This is a fantastic modern apartment, just a couple minutes walk from Calpe's old town and just 5-10 minute walk to bars, restaurants and beach.
Spacious lounge/dining area. Fully equipped kitchen. Fantastic south facing balcony. Underground car parking space. A place to relax as soon as you arrive.

A deposit of 25-30% is required upon booking, with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Refundable security deposit of £100 required to cover damage/loss/excessive cleaning, payable with balance.
The apartment is available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure. There is some flexibility with these times if we do not have a booking immediately prior to or following your holiday dates, we can advise you if required.
There is an additional charge of £50 for the 3rd person staying.
