This beautiful well equipped villa with private pool is set in a quiet, picturesque location amongst grape vines and almond trees. It is set on two levels making it ideal for two separate families. A wonderful pool area with outside kitchen and bar and a waterslide!
The garden is stunning and all garden furniture is available. There are 2 terraces one of which has a traditional Spanish barbecue, table and chairs. The second is a covered terrace, which overlooks the pool and garden. On the upper level of the villa there is a lounge/dining area, which has comfortable leather sofa's, satellite TV (English) I pod docking station, dining table and chairs. The newly fitted kitchen is fully equipped. Bedroom 1 and 2 have double beds, bedroom 3 2 x twins beds. There is a large family bathroom with bath/shower bidet. The lower level, has a bathroom and kitchenette. Bedroom 4 has twin beds and a seating area with a sofa and TV. Bedroom 5 has a double bed and built in wardrobe. All linen is provided. The entire Villa was fitted with brand new White Aluminium High Security Double Glazing in June 2008 - all with mosquito nets including the gate on the upstairs front door which enables you to leave the door open with the gate shut to let the air through but NOT the bugs!
Please respect our wishes that no glass around the pool area, we have provided good quality acrylic (not plastic) glasses and serving dishes for your use.

Change over days are normally Saturday in High and Mid Season we can be flexible at other times, Occupancy is normally from 4pm and departure at 10 am to allow cleaning and linen change for new guests, On arrival our key holder will meet you at the villa (directions are sent to you on final payment with receipts), and show you around and how everything works etc. They will also assist you with any enquiries you may have, and be available throughout your stay, should you require any further assistance. Please make sure you have arranged Suitable Travel Insurance as no liability will be accepted for loss, injury, cancellation costs incurred or any circumstance beyond our control.
Cancellation conditions: If a cancellation is requested more than eight weeks in advance of the letting the balance of any monies paid, less the rental deposit, will be returned to the tenant. If the cancellation is requested within the eight weeks prior to the letting the owner will retain the 30% rental deposit and also reserves the right to retain the balance of the rental (should it not be possible to re-let the property for this period). In the unlikely event of cancellation by the owner all rental monies will be refunded.

Upper floor sleeps 6 persons, lower floor sleeps 4-6 persons. Both self contained. Note we will not rent both floors to separate clients at same time unless booked by same party.
The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Weather in Calpe is mild (and well known for it) throughout the year, making it an ideal destination for holiday makers in summer and winter months. Both the town and surrounding areas are sheltered by hills and high mountains, allowing for a kind of micro climate. This limits rainfall, and as a result the region enjoys sunshine for more than 320 days per year. The sun is at its hottest during the summer months, with temperatures rarely falling below 30°C (86°F). Whereas typically very mild winters, boast averages of around 18°C (64°F).
This region (especially the southernmost part of the Costa) is famous for its salt lakes (salt is a major export). This has a major knock on effect on humidity levels, and as a result the air is much dryer than in other parts of Spain and Europe. The low humidity levels coupled with a mild climate, mean the WHO (World Health Organisation) have rated this part of Spain one of the healthiest climates on the planet.
Calpe the artists town. A port and a country town at the same time. An oasis in the most popular tourist region of the Costa Blanca. Calpe is the town of connoisseurs, the town chosen by the whole of Europe as its summer retreat. A privileged enclave beside the calm blue waters of the Mediterranean, where outstanding natural beauty, gastronomy, culture, the sea and the mountains are part of the everyday life of its inhabitants all year round. The Old Town is beginning to attract more and more visitors because it is becoming a very interesting part of the town.
There are Museums, picturesque little streets and squares and many bars and restaurants, most of them with a lively terrace, an ideal place to spend a pleasant summer evening.

The Calpe / La Fustera area
With 11 kilometres of coastline, Calpe has twelve sandy beaches most with promenades and lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Calpe is on the Southeast coast of Spain, between Valencia and Alicante, about 15 miles north of Benidorm. Calpe is a beautiful holiday centre for those looking for a beautiful relaxing resort, with plenty to do and see. Calpe has two main very good, safe and sandy beaches. The two beaches are linked by a promenade approximately two miles long. Calpe has a wide choice of shops, and there is a large general open-air market on Saturday mornings.
There are many restaurants, which offer a variety of international menus and are well known for their quality and reasonable prices. Benidorm is about 20 minutes ride away for those seeking a more sophisticated night out. There is a regular bus service to Benidorm, Alicante and Valencia and a narrow gauge railway, which gives a scenic ride along the coast between Alicante and Denia. Terra Mitica is a new theme park suitable or all age groups 20 minutes drive away.
There are about five kilometres of striking cliffs, with the Ifach, Toix and La Manzanara and the rest is beaches of fine sand, bays and coastline.Among the sandy beaches, special mention should be made of the Playa de la Fossa or the Playa de Levante, more than 1 km of wide sands, ideal for swimming, diving and other sports.The Arenal beach and the Levante are brilliant, both of which have made arrangements for swimmers.
You can also play golf or sail along the coast to enjoy the last rays of sun. Visit other towns like Benidorm (aqualandia, marine and exotic animal park, great disco's like Penelope, E5, Joker and night clubs, entertainment Benidorm Palace), Alicante(shopping, airport), Elche(gardens), Valencia, Murcia and Madrid.

Had a lovely week in December. The weather was very good (low 20's on a couple of days). Spent time on the local beaches at Calpe (wide), Moraira (quite posh) and Javea (shops and childrens play areas). Plenty of food options a short drive away.
One highlight was seeing the professional cycling teams training (we saw BMC and Quickstep teas on several days, and a few other individuals who looked pretty professional).

I really enjoyed my stay as I needed to wind down a bit. read some nice books but there is also plenty to do if you want . I found the property very nice and loved the fact that it was on two floors so you had two comple flats which is great for families and friends.
close to the beaches and plenty of lovely places to eat found the property very well equipped with everything you could want . We had a great time cant wait to go again.
