Nearby attractions include one of europes largest theme parks 'Terra Mitica', and 'Terra Natura', Safari Park Vergel, Aqua parks, dinner shows in Benidrom, Font Algar with it's waterfalls, and swimming.
Calpe Rock For the fairly active, it is possible to walk to the top of “The Rock” or Penon d’Ifach. Start early in the morning to avoid the heat of the day, wear stout shoes and take plenty of water, the views are stunning and well worth the effort. The entrance to the park is near the port, and is well signposted.
Fiestas
The Fiesta's of Spain are truly stunning. The Costumes are amazing and the parades go on for hours. The standout ones in the area are the Moors & Christians on or around 22nd October and the Virgen de las Nieves on or around the 5th of August.
How to get there
Motorway to Calpe, then follow signs to Moirara, just outside Calpe on the Moirara road. Recommend doyouspain.com for car hire, found to be both reliable and cheap, no money upfront.

Guestbook for Villa Margarita
The owner has always been helpful & nothing is too much trouble for the lovely couple who maintain the villa. On the whole for a relaxing, no frills holiday then this fits the bill.
I just had to write a review about this villa. My husband, myself and two teenagers stayed in this lovely villa for 1 wk. It was great, the villa itself was super, very clean and had everything you need. The pool was lovely too, especially to just relax by. We also went onto the top of the villa, it was just so peaceful! The villa's in a great location too, the supermarket is just down the road and it has everything even a butchers!!! The beach is also within walking distance. We took some scenic beach walks to Calpe and we climbed 'The Rock!'. Our Kids really enjoyed it. Everyone we met was so friendly including the people you contact if you need help, the ones who look after the villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully book again.
