Two-Pots has its own pathway and entrance, through a fruit garden in the grounds of a friendly family run villa, complete with bbq, table, chairs - sun loungers and looking out on an abundance of palm trees. (NO SWIMMING POOL))

It is situated in a very quiet residential area. WiFi and air-conditioning (hot and cold).

Ian and Karen live in the villa, and welcome guests on arrival. Ian or Karen will show you around, and then leave you to enjoy your holiday. However should you need anything during your stay, they are here to help.

Two-Pots is is a good sized comfortable room, with a homely feel. Making a excellent low cost base in Calpe. The furnishings are comfortable. There is also a washing machine and kitchen sink in the room.

The garden room is set within a small orchard, which is amongst many palm trees. Two-pots has its own small patio area for two people with dappled shade complete with bbq, chairs and table for relaxing and eating outdoors. There is a gas outdoor paella stove, which is also great for eggs and bacon. Sun-loungers are available for use in this area if preferred.

Lots of space to park in the wide and quiet road.

The Costa Blanca/Valencia region

Costa Blanca has one of the healthiest climates in europe with around 320 days of sunshine a year. including many blue flag beaches for clean bathing and the area is ideal for families with young children. It has been a very popular destination for many generations.

The coast road runs through many picturesque villages as well as the main towns, this makes tourism a delight.

Calpe

Calpe is a beautiful town, and is easily recognised by the 330 mtr rock that stands between the two beaches. The rock (ifach) can be walked up by the fit enthusiast, and offers a spectacular view of the town. We have a flea market on Wednesdays also a large traditional Spanish market every Saturday in Calpe.

The two beautiful blue flag sandy beaches have all the amenities that you expect from the best holiday resorts. There is a diving centre near to Calpe. There are day trips to Benidorn and Denia by boat from Calpe. There is a glass bottom boat and fishing trip boats at Calpe fishing port. Benidorm palace is one of the top shows in eu (35mins drive) for a lively fun night out. Calpe has many very good restaurants, bars and shops, and many fiestas.

Calpe has become a very popular centre for people interested in climbing.

Penon D'Ifach - A classic mountain. An absolute must for the Costa Blanca climber.

Sella - A major sport climbing area in the Costa Blanca. A huge range of routes covering all grades and lengths.

Toix - Easily accessible crags just above Calpe.

Altea - Several smallish standalone crags just inland from Calpe and Toix.

Olta - A surprisingly under-developed crag considering its closeness to Calpe. Single-pitch sport climbing, high up, with fantastic views.

Mascarat Gorge - A huge gorge just south of Calpe through which run many tunnels carrying all the main North-South roads.

Echo Valley - A huge area of development in a remote and still largely unspoilt valley.

Moraira Sea Cliffs - A largely undeveloped area of sea cliffs just North of Calpe with some climbing restrictions.

"Great week spent in [--]Two-Pots[--]"

We arrived at 1 a.m. in the morning but were still greeted by the owner, ian, who was really friendly & happy to meet us. We were given a guided tour of the property with helpfull hints & tips.The accommodation was spotless, especially the bedding and the welcome pack was much appreciated. The setting was absolutely wonderfull and in a really nice place just a 10 minute drive outside Calpe. The beaches in Calpe were very clean and the sea was very calm. Plenty of bars & shops to choose from on the promenade and all at reasonable prices. The garden was full of fruit trees and we very much enjoyed cooking our breakfast on the outdoor cooking facility. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and always felt welcome by Ian, Karen & Jasmine. Hope to go back in the future.

"All we wished for and more"

We had a fantastic stay in Two Pots. Clean, cool, comfortable and welcoming is only the start. The owners Karen, Ian and Jazz are so helpful and accomodating. The studio accomodation is in a tranquil area less than a 10 minute drive from Calpe,an amazing watersports centre and the beach. We also found that it was a good base for visiting outlying beautiful historic towns like Orihuela, Guardlest, Xenia, Altea etc.
The thing we liked least about the property was that the seville oranges hanging outside our door were not ready for the picking so we had to make do with plums, lemons, limes and valencia oranges!!
We will be back.

"Great for 2 people wanting a quiet self-catering break in good value accommodation"

Two Pots is a cosy property which although small has been well thought out. The owners are very welcoming and there are many extra touches not found in most self catering accommodation including basic food items, hairdrier, books and magazines, candles etc. It is in a peaceful location and we found it an excellent and very good value base for our two week stay. We enjoyed breakfasting outside in the garden surrounded by fruit trees.

"Great accomodation ,lovely people."

Calpe makes an excellent base for climbers and walkers intent on catching some winter sun and exploring the fine countryside that lies a few kilometers inland from the popular coastal belt. Two-Pots enjoys a quiet and peaceful location in a very pleasant part of the town ,and is ideally suited for two persons . Ian and karen,the charming owners,live in an adjacent building but have the good sense to respect their guest's privacy and leave them to get on with it once the introductory formalities and tour of the accomodation have been completed.This is not to suggest ,however,that one feels abandoned ,taken for granted or anything : there is a quiet understanding that it is your holiday but should any help or advice (or even ,I believe, occasional transport ! ) be needed or requested then they will be delighted to oblige .Sounds too good to be true ?! Well it really was lovely ,there were some especially thoughtful touches such as the little Christmas tree pinned to the wall ,the welcome pack of food essentials ,and being encouraged to help ourselves to the plentiful and delicious fruit and herbs growing outside our secluded front door !.Thankyou Ian and Karen for some lovely memories .
