The spacious property extends to over 330m2 and contains 5 double bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (3 en-suite), lounge/dining room, large sitting room, 2 kitchens/breakfast room, utility room, garage, and WC. The interior is neutrally decorated and designed to create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere in all seasons. Hot and cold air conditioning, central heating and a wood burner make it the perfect family retreat throughout the year. All the fittings are modern and high quality including maple kitchen units and granite work tops. The house is fully equipped with TVs, DVD players, stereo, games including Playstation 2, books etc.
There are 2 double and 6 twin beds with high quality mattresses in the 5 double bedrooms, which can sleep 10 people. 2 further people can be accommodated on the sofa bed located in one of the reception rooms - resulting in accommodation for 12 people. There is also a fold up cot, including mattress, at the villa.
The villa is designed to maximise the light and the stunning views offered from its elevated position. Wide terraces (covered and open) and balconies offer uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains, sea, Penon de Ifach, and Calpe town. The house borders mature pine forests with an abundance of wildlife and birds. It is set in a quiet location with the town, beach and main access roads only a few minutes drive away.
The beautifully landscaped gardens are located on 2 levels and benefit from sun all day. You will also find a variety of fruit trees including apple, pomegranate, fig, orange and lemon - perfect for those gin & tonics! The private swimming pool is larger than average measuring 10m x 5m and is surrounded by ample non-slip terracing. This also extends to a large summer kitchen and BBQ area with outdoor shower.
Access to the property is gained by electronic gates and the driveway has parking for more than 6 cars. The house is also connected to a centrally connected security system and has a well lit exterior.

A 25% deposit is required when booking and the balance is due eight weeks prior to departure. A security deposit of £300 payable with the final amount is required. This will be returned within 2 weeks of vacating the property. A weekly cleaning service is available at an extra charge.
The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Sheltered by mountains, the Costa Blanca offers an ideal year round climate as recommended by the World Health Organisation. It contains some beautiful coastal scenery and inland forests and trails. There are many blue flag beaches as well as various golf courses and recreational activities to enjoy such as tennis, scuba diving and hiking. The cities of Alicante and Valencia offer an excellent shopping and cultural experience and the theme parks and water parks around Benidorm make it an ideal family destination.
The Calpe / Gargasindi area
Calpe is located about 45 mins drive from Alicante airport and is dominated by the famous Penon de Ifach (rock of Ifach) - a volcanic boulder that juts out over the sea and is the largest rock in Mediterranean. The town of Calpe, was originally a fishing village and still retains its identity through the local fish market held at the port each afternoon and the weekly Saturday market. There are three sandy beaches that curve around the bay as well as a marina and numerous restaurants and café bars.
The "jewel" of the Costa Blanca, Altea, lies 5km south of Calpe. This white-washed village is perched on the hill overlooking the bay and is dominated by its famous blue domed church. Other popular coastal towns include Moraira and Javea which lie a few kilometres to the north. Inland, the village of Polop is a popular destination with its waterfalls nearby and the Jalon Valley offers some fantastic scenery.

Calpe can be reached either by arriving in Alicante (45 minute drive) or Valencia (1 hour drive). Ryanair and Easyjet fly direct to Alicante or Valencia airports from London and many other European cities.

Large family trip so many boxes to tick and this really was a great base and a very well equipped villa, pictures do not do it justice, pool and BBQ area were very well used and close to shops and beaches. Only issue on arrival was who was going to have what room!! Price of living was great, food/alcohol prices in supermarkets were very cheap, we ate and drunk like kings all week!
