About the home

Villa Rosada is a beautiful, modern villa in a residential area of Calpe with all amenities close to hand. Less than 2Kms to the beach, The villa is very well equipped and furnished to a high standard. Air conditioning in bedrooms and lounge. UK TV. BBQ on pool terrace. Close to shops, restaurants and beaches. Just half hour drive to Terra Mitica making this the ideal holiday home. Arrive and depart any day of the week.

Facilities

Further details indoors:
Inside the villa the entrance hall leads through to the large lounge and dining room. There is TV with a number of English programmes and a DVD player. The lounge is comfortably furnished and has air conditioning. The very well equipped kitchen is off the dining area. There is also a utility room with the washing machine. Doors go from the dining area to the covered terrace beside the swimming pool.

From the entrance hall a passage goes to the two twin bedded rooms, family shower room, and the master suite with double bed and en suite bathroom including a bath and separate walk-in shower. All the bedrooms have air conditioning. As it is completely on the flat, the villa is ideal for families with children or for those with walking difficulties.

Further details outdoors:
The private swimming pool is set just outside the villa, off the main covered terrace. The pool has a paved surround, and there are plenty of sun loungers around the pool. The covered terrace is well equipped with table and chairs and has a purpose built barbecue.

The garden surrounding the villa is well tended and features Mediterranean shrubs and plants. The whole property is walled with hedges for added privacy. The main gate is electrically operated and there is parking space for two cars.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Northern Costa Blanca has long been a popular holiday destination for Spaniards and foreigners alike. The area is still famous for its Valencia oranges that are exported all over the world.

Within half hour's drive is Benidorm where a fun day out is guaranteed with a visit to Terra Mitica (theme park), Aqualandia (water park), Terra Natura or Mundomar. And in the evening a trip to Benidorm Palace where a spectacular cabaret is performed - not to be missed! There are also many inland mountain villages just a short dirve away for those wanting to have a taste of the 'real' Spain.

The city of Valencia has many monuments well worth a visit and the city is once again host to theEuropean F1 Grand Prix 22nd to 24th of June 2012. Valencia is also a great place to go shopping. And not too far away is Buñol where the world famous 'Tomatina' fiesta is celebrated each year on the last Wednesday of August. It is also possible to visit Barcelona by train in a day!

The Calpe / La Cometa area

The Peñon d'Ifach looks majestically down on Calpe's ancient fishing port, full of culture and history. However, it has leapt in to the 21st century to become a popular beach resort, at the same time maintaining the charm of its old town and port. Apart from the fantastic sandy beaches that Calpe offers there are numerous coves and small rocky beaches along the coastline.

ake the small train to Altea along the scenic coastline or catch one of the boats in the port to either Denia, Jávea or Benidorm. Drive in your own car to the mountain village of Guadalest stopping on route for a traditional meal at one of the many typical restaurants.

Don't miss the 'Fiesta de la Cerveza' from 7th to 17th October, not unsimilar to the German Oktoberfest. Other fiestas in Calpe to look out for are the Moors and Christians 21st to 24th October and the Virgen de los Nieves 4th to 14th August.

Great Holiday Lovely Villa -
Just returned from a 2 week holiday at Villa Rosada I travelled with my girlfriend for the first week and then was joined by my parents for the last week of our holidy. The villa was clean tidy and very comfortable. The pool was fantastic with good sun loungers.
We all ahd a great time and felt that the Villa was suitable for all ages. A great holiday !!!
