Villa Almendros is located just ten minutes’ walk from the beach. With own large private pool, open plan lounge with separate dining area, main double bedroom, ground floor shower room, first floor bedroom with three single beds and upstairs shower room and sun terrace.

Private Spanish Villa, located on a quite cul-de-sac within its own private grounds. Private pool and terrace for al fresco dining. Ideal for families seeking relaxation.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Valencia is the home of paella, and this area has white sandy beaches, with the mountains rolling away to the sea. The city of Valencia blends Roman and Gothic architecture with ultra-modern constructions, and is an increasingly popular destination. The city is set upon the Costa del Azahar, quieter than the Costa Blanca to the south, with vast stretches of orange groves and sandy beaches.

The Calpe area

Calpe has a wonderful mixture of old Valencian culture and modern tourist trappings, perfectly harmonising providing an ideal base from which to explore the local area or enjoy on the many beaches. Calpe has a wonderful modern marina that sits alongside the old fishing port. From here it is possible to take boat rides around the rock and to the nearby resort of Benidorm. The port has a nautical club and facilities for yachting, windsurfing and water skiing.

Alicante airport which is serviced by EasyJet, BMI Baby and Thomson fly. Car hire is very resonable and starts from as littlke as £10 per day. Coach transfers are also available to Calpe from the airport (www.alsa.es). Los Almendros is located behind the Salt Lake and only a 15 minute walk to the town centre.

“Very good place for a quiet rest” Me and my family rented this villa in september 2012 and stayed there with my 1year old child. This villa is really quiet all over the day and night so nothing disturbed my baby while he was asleep. The villa was equiped everything we needed. (I just took baby's blender and a baby carriage with me from home). The swimming pool was cleaned twiсe a week. The villa has a very nice view from the rear yard to the mountain and the village. It took us 15-20 minites rapid walking to reach any of two beaches (with the baby in a baby carriage) and about 10-15 minits to reach the supermarket. We will try to be back next year.

“Villa insalubre” Cette villa est envahie par les blattes. En juillet 2011 nous occupions déjà cette villa et nous en avons tué 60. Cette année nous en avons tué une centaine, alors que le propriétaire nous signalait que le problème était réglé. Le ménage est à désirer: couche de poussière sous les matelas des lits, le four inutilisable, la poêle dans un état lamentable.La cuisine est à refaire complètement, toutes les fenêtres de la villa sont à changer. La villa n'est pas sécurisée à l'arrière car la porte qui se ferme par l'intérieure ne comporte que 2 petites targettes. Nous avons trouvé lors de notre arrivée l'extérieur de la villa (allées et piscine) dans un état lamentable, couvertes de feuilles et d'épines de pin. Le parasol de la terrasse était cassé et donc inutilisable. Après 3 courriers adressés au propriétaire, nous n'avons reçu aucune réponse, il n'a même pas daigné nous accuser réception de l'expédition de la clef de la villa. Response: this client had used the villa previously and was keen to bbok it again, he decided that he want me to refund most of his money due to only having English TV, not having a kitchen bin and new patio built at rear. He threatened to give me a bad review unless I refunded most of his payment for the 3 weeks he stay at the villa!
