A lovely, spacious separate apartment situated in the grounds of the owners Villa, the Palms apartment has it's own private entrance and is entirely self-contained, with plenty of off road parking. Situated in a small residential area the terrace and private pool offers inspiring views of the stunning countryside providing a prime position for relaxing and soaking up the tranquil ambiance of the area. The apartment is set in wondderful grounds providing a relaxing retreat from the stress of everyday life. There is also a barbecue area with table and chairs, allowing al-fresco dining in spectacular surroundings. For those wishing to explore the area, the town and beach are less than 10 minutes drive away.
The living room is furnished with a comfortable large corner sofa which can easily be turned into an extra double bed. This leads into the fully fitted kitchen which has a full dishwasher, electric cooker with halogen hob, microwave oven, large fridge/freezer, electric kettle, coffee maker and toaster. It is also fully equipped for cooking and dining. Seating in the Kitchen is provided for 4 People.
The Master bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed, Fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and an additional seating area. The second bedroom has a comfortable double and single bed with triple wardrobes and chest of drawers. The modern bathroom has sink, toilet and shower cubicle with a full sized washing machine for your convenience. All windows are tilt and turn and fitted with mosquito blinds. Also provided are an iron and ironing board and clothes drying stand.
A wide range of English and European TV is available on the large flat screen TV. An XBOX machine is provided with over 50 games and it can be used as a music and DVD player .
For those of you that need to keep in touch with work or family we have a wireless broadband internet connection available free of charge in the apartment itself.

You can of course spend your entire holiday without moving from Calpe but should you wish to explore further afield there is much to see and do in the surrounding area.
Close by is the new Science Museum, Oceanagraphic Sea World and Palau D´Arts Opera House, stunning architecture in their own right. The old town is not to be missed, spend a relaxing day and just soak up the atmosphere.
Both the major cities of Alicante and Valencia are worth a visit. Valencia, the home of the America Cup Yacht Race and the recent Formula 1 Grand Prix is undergoing much regeneration around the old commercial port area. Here you will find the base of the Americas Cup and the new marina complex.
Alicante should not be missed either, a bustling vibrant city with the modern marina, old town and shopping area all within an easy walk. If you are feeling energetic take a walk to the top of the Santa Barbara Castle and enjoy the magnificent views overlooking the whole of the city.
About a 45 minute journey inland is the old fortified village of Guadalest perched high up on a rocky outcrop, the old village is accessed through a large doorway carved out of the rock.
Just outside Callosa d´En Sarria are the Fonts d´Algar, a series of refreshing springs and waterfalls set within a Nature Park. Impressive underground caves can be found at Benidoleig and Canalobre with stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousands of years.
Benidorm is about ½ hrs drive and offers many attractions for the whole family. There is Aqualandia, a large water park; Mundomar a sea life centre; Terra Mitica theme park and Terra Natura wildlife park combined with a small water park. Benidorm Palace offers glittering international cabarets with dinner.
A short scenic drive will take you to the Jalon and Orba Valleys, vast valley floors full of citrus trees or grape vines, sample some of the local wine in one of the bodegas in Jalon or take a stroll around one of the surrounding villages.
For a different day why not try the small single line railway, this will transport you along the coast south to Altea, Benidorm and beyond, and terminates at Denia to the north. The neighbouring coastal towns of Moraira, Javea, Altea and Denia are all worthy of a visit with their old traditional towns and their more modern tourist beach areas.
Calpe has much to offer the visitor whether you want just a totally relaxing holiday or something a little more energetic. The area is dominated by the Penon d´Ifach rock rising 332 metres from the sea, blue flag beaches stretch out from both sides of this impressive landmark.
Take a stroll along the wide promenade stopping off along the way at the many beach side cafes to soak up the sun and admire the view. Relax on the long fine white sandy beaches and listen to the gentle lapping of the breaking waves.
Lunch can be enjoyed in one of the many fish restaurants in the port area at the base of the Penon. Here you will be tempted by the variety of local fish on display.
For the more energetic of you a walk to the top of the Penon is a must, the views from here are just breathtaking. All sorts of water sports are available from windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing and canoeing. Bicycles can be hired and there is a Tennis Club nearby, the choices are endless.
Boat trips are available from Calpe port taking you either north or south. For the evening what better place to spend it than in the old town with its narrow streets and local architecture, soaking up the atmosphere over a glass or two and a fine meal.

"Beautiful apartment for a relaxing week away"
Perfect for a getaway with a private pool, great BBQ, ample parking and comfy beds! Short car ride to Calpe town and lovely beaches and restaurants. Owners living upstairs, you wouldn't know it as the make up is so separated you have your own privacy, however they are they should you need anything , nb: Phoenix restaurant highly recommend.

"Excellent accommodation in a stunning position"
The Palms is set high up in the hills above Calpe town but only minutes by car down to the Mediterranean and the town. Although we were there for winter months we could still enjoy sitting round the pool which gets the sun all day. Inside the apartment is well furnished and the beds were extremely comfortable. All amenities were provided. Paul and Jo are wonderful hosts and were very welcoming to us and our two cats who went with us. The area itself is beautiful. We discovered coastal and inland walks and although it was winter there were lots of restaurants and bars open. And a few miles further afield and well worth a visit are Moraira, Javea, Altea, Guadelest and Denia.
