About the home

NO INCREASE in rental rates for 2011.
This two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is situated less than 100 metres from the beach. It has enviable views, on one side the pool on the other fabulous coastal views. The apartment is light and airy, featuring all the amenities a modern apartment has to offer. It comprises of a fully fitted kitchen and utility room, the lounge & dining room has a digital TV & dvd together with a library of DVDs, books & games for use during your stay. There's also everything you could need for a trip to the beach. In fact the apartment is just like home from home. The lounge also leads onto a south facing terrace ideal for alfresco dining and with breathtaking views.
Calpe offers something for everyone, whatever age, clean beaches, clear blue sea, sunshine and relaxation, a perfect choice.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Calpe is situated north of Benidorm on the Costa Blanca, an area which has one of the best climates in the world. Places to visit are Benidorm which has Terra Mitica, a large theme park, Aqualandia, a superb water park & Mundomar, a marine & exotic animal park. Terra Natura is another animal park which also has adjoining water park Aqua Natura. Inland from Calpe is Castell de Guadalest, a old fortified town built by the Moors, which is well worth a visit. Also nearby are the resorts of Moraira Javea and Denia.

The Calpe area

Calpe is a modern but also traditional town, originally an ancient fishing village invaded by the Moors many years ago. Calpe is dominated by the Penon de Ifach which is now a nature reserve, the peak of the rock can be reached via a path. The salt flats attract many different birds including pink Flamingos.
Calpe has 2 Blue Flag beaches, many good shops bars and restaurants. Calpe's old town also has an excellent choice of bars and restaurants, pretty streets and squares and museums where you can learn about local history. There is a Saturday morning market every week in the old town where you can usually find a bargain.
The town has a good local bus service and a small road train which operates in season. Down at the fishing port you can find excellent fish restaurants and if you want to see more of the Costa Blanca coast there are boat trips on offer to Altea, Benidorm Javea and Denia.
The Moors and Christians Fiesta which takes place at the end of October is a must, the parades,costumes and fireworks shouldn't be missed.

Prices may be subject to change at owners discretion. Minimum rental period usually 7 days. Changeover day normally Saturday. A 25% deposit will be required to secure the booking, balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure. In addition a security deposit of £125 is required, this will be refunded upon a final inspection of the apartment. A supplement of £35 per week is payable for the 5th person. Longer winter lets are available on request. There is no final clean charge.
