Home description
This elegant and well appointed house is on the exclusive “Residencial Bel Air” in Calpe within walking distance of the town centre. The surrounding area is peaceful and the house enjoys wonderful views down to the sea, whilst still being close enough to enjoy all that Calpe offers Entrance to the property is through a remote controlled electric gate offering constant security. Parking for each house is provided within the Residencial.
The Residencial consist of 15 semi-detached and terraced houses in a U-shape around a communal swimming pool with Mediterranean garden laid out with grass and palm trees and the house has fantastic views of the sea and Calpe’s Penon d’Ifach, the symbol of the Costa Blanca.
Hot and cold air-conditioning is ducted into every room and the bathrooms and kitchen are finished to the highest quality. The kitchen is fully fitted and there is a hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, juicer, washing machine, fridge freezer and dishwasher.
The entrance to the house is through a covered porch and security door into the ground floor with cloakroom/w.c. and then to the living room with fireplace, dining area, kitchen and walk in storage cupboard.
The living area has French doors and full height windows making the room very light and airy and is furnished with a dining suite, sideboard, coffee table, sofa and sofa bed. Through the double French doors, you go out to the covered terrace and private garden with gate and 4 steps leading to the communal pool and garden area. Sky TV is installed with access to all free to air UK channels and a DVD/CD player is also provided.
Upstairs you will find the master bedroom with double bed, fitted wardrobes and en-suite bathroom (bath and separate shower cubicle). The second bedroom, with twin beds and fitted wardrobes, has sole use of the second bathroom across the landing. Both bedrooms have access to the upstairs terrace with stunning panoramic views of the sea and the mountains. The house is fitted with double glazed windows which have roll down shutters upstairs.
Loungers, cushions , terrace furniture, bbq, beach loungers and sun shade are all available for your use. We leave washing and dishwasher products in the house. We respectfully ask that you replace anything you use in order that the next arrivals can enjoy the same.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Calpe has wonderful sandy beaches, bathing bays, harbour, diving, sailing, surfing, many shops, fine restaurants and bars. There are several golf courses in the area. Saturday is market day where you will find a huge range of fruit, vegetables, clothes, household items and souvenirs. The famous symbol of Calpe is the 'Penon de Ifach' a huge rock which rises up behind the fishing harbour. This is a nature reserve and there is a path to the top where you will be rewarded with spectacular views. Calpe has a wide variety of attractive coastline where transparent waters are the order of the day. Its beautiful, peaceful coves include Les Bassetes, to the north - a natural shelter that provides perfect conditions for learning to sail and an interesting sea bed carpeted with underwater plants perfect for diving. La Fossa and El Arenal beaches offer a complete range of services, well-cared for promenade and summer facilities providing windsurfing, pedal boats and Jet Ski equipment. Each day the fishing fleet sails from Calpe and returns with its catch which is sold at auction in the market, a specatcle which tourists are able to enjoy.
Calpe / Garduix area
Calpe is an ideal centre for visiting the villages, towns and places of interest on the Costa Blanca. The safari park at Vergel and caves at Benidoleig are a short drive away as are the nearby coastal towns of Denia, Javea, Moraira, Altea and Benidorm. The village of Gata is well known for its wicker goods and here also is a Spanish guitar factory that you can look around. The waterfalls at Bollula are featured on some of the postcards and the pretty village of Guadalest perched on a rock is famous for hand made lace. Benidorm is only 30 minutes drive and offers the huge aqua park Aqualandia , sea world (Mundo Mar) and the new Terra Mitica Disney style theme park. Here also is the Benidorm Palace that put on some excellent stage shows with dinner included if you wish. For scenery a climb to the top of the Penon de Ifach, the Sierra Mountain (drive or walk) and the Montgo Mountain near Javea, which looks like an elephant from some directions, will reward you with some spectacular views. There are many festivals in the area throughout the year, the spectacular Moors and Christians festivals are held throughout the summer and autumn in villages and towns in the area, with Calpe's taking place in October. The Club de Tenis is 800m from the house, with Tennis courts, bar and restaurant.

- As always we had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay; we really have become very fond of your home in Spain and of Calpe and the surrounding area. -
-Just a little note to say how much we enjoyed our holiday staying in your lovely villa in Calpe. Your directions to the villa from Alicante airport were 'spot-on' - we had no problems finding it whatsoever.-
-All in all, we've had a lovely holiday and have brought back some wonderful memories - our favourite bit was coming back to the villa late at night sitting on the balcony having a night-cap admiring the view of the rock with the moon, stars and twinkling lights of the town below. It was so peaceful and calming.-
