Casa Romanica is a modern luxury villa situated in a small gated development of 16 villas in a quite area with easy access to beach and town. The villa has it's own private pool with secluded garden and is ideal for families wanting a relaxing holiday, in fact, many of our clients return in the following years.
The Villa can sleep six people comfortably and has a secluded private garden and parking. It comprises three double bedrooms on two floors and is fully air conditioned (the property also has full central heating for those winter months!). There is also an alarm system for your peace of mind and security.

Entering the villa via the front door the shower room is on the left with the first double bedroom straight ahead.
Round to the right is the hall where there is a second double bedroom on your left and the stairs leading to the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and large glass doors opening onto a large balcony.
The upstairs balcony enjoys a fabulous view across to the mountain and the Ifach rock can be seen as well. The end of the hall leads to the dining area and kitchen.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, ceramic hob, extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and all the usual items you would expect to find at home.
To the left of the dining area is the lounge with a Flat Screen TV and DVD/CD/BlueRay player. The patio door leads to a covered eating area with large tiled table and chairs.
Beyond this is the private pool with secluded garden areas round to the left and right. There are also six loungers available should you wish to catch the sun. The out-building contains the washing machine, tumble dryer and deep sink if needed.

There is also a larger communal swimming pool with adjoining toddlers pool, which is also available for your use as well as your own private pool.
The villa has its own private parking space and the small group of villas are accessed via an electric gate.

The Valenciana region
The Valencia region in Spain is an extremely beautiful and very fertile area known as La Huerta (Garden of Spain). The Coast consists of many golden beaches and towns full of history. Inland, the soil is fertile and the region has adopted the nickname 'the bread-basket of Spain'. Valencia is a region rich in history having been occupied by the Moors for 800 years. It is also the home to paella, spain's most famous dish. The inland region around Calpe has some stunning mountain views and almost everywhere there are almond and olive groves, not to mention the orange and lemon orchards. You'll also see the orange trees in the main street in Calpe.
The Ifach Rock towers over Calpe and is one of the symbols of the Coasta Blanca. Calpe itself is surrounded by mountain slopes giving the region a mild year round climate. The old town has enchanting narrow streets and some great restaurants. There are 4km of sun drenched beaches either side of the small fishing port and yacht marina. The town is renowned for it's fresh fish and seafood restaurants. Calpe also has Roman ruins, a Moorish Castle and the infamous Salinas where flamingos are often present. The town has many fiestas during the year, the highlights being the bull running and fireworks in the first week of August and the Moors & Christians which takes place around the 22nd October. There are many activities in and around the town some of which are listed below

Other Attractions in the local area: Fonts de Algar (Waterfalls), Guadelest, Terra Mitica Theme Park, Aqualandia Water Slide Park, Mundomar Sea World with Dolphins and Sea Lions, L'Oceanographic Aquarium in Valenca which features Europes longest underwater tunnel and Beluga whales! (approx 90 min drive away).

"Best villa in Calpe"
We have stayed in many villas over the past few years. I can honestly say that this one, was the cleanest and best equipped we have ever seen. Excellent service from Ross. Thanks for making this one of our best holidays. We will recommend to everyone headed to Spain.

"Wonderful, private villa for a relaxed and enjoyable stay"
We stayed at the villa for almost two weeks with our two childeren of 3 and 1 years old and our parents. Everyone of us fully enjoyed because there was enough to do for every age-group. Swimmingpool, relax chairs, pool toys, fully equipped kitchen, privacy.

"Everything you could possibly need and more in a villa, the perfect holiday villa"
The owners of the villa were more than happy to answer any questions we had regarding the villa and surrounding area. On the day of arrival we were greeted by an immaculate villa, with all the home comforts. We did not hire a car and found the walk to the beach easy and non strenuous. The trip from the supermarket was easy in a taxi which cost approx 11 euros. The pool was attended to twice weekly and was a great bonus to the villa. The wifi was brill, the sky tv had lots of English channels. Basically had a brilliant time, the villa was fabulous, the owners very helpful and the weather great. We will definitely be going back next year loved every minute.

"Every aspect from booking, stay and return correspondence - Excellent!!!"
First made contact with owner by phone and from that moment everything was dealt with very professionally but with a personal touch. The villa is very well presented with absolutely every detail well thought out for guest's comfort. The villa is very private with full screening or if you have children they can use the larger pool which is through the garden gate. Security is excellent and with only a few private villas within gated community you and your family can feel safe.
A car is needed but that will give you access to many attractions in the area. Many restaurants serving a variety of dishes are in abundance and together with large supermarkets close by your catering needs are superbly met. Air conditioning in the villa gives you the respite when needed and ensures a good nights sleep. I own a villa in Spain so know what is required to make guests comfortable so that they can enjoy their holidays. I cannot recommend this villa enough. If you want a quiet location with excellent home comforts then you must try Casa Romanica. You won't be disappointed!!!!

"Worth every penny"
My husband baby and three year old stayed here for a week in September 2012.
From the outset it was clear that we were dealing with a high quality owner. The communications throughout the booking process, the information for our arrival and the continued assurance that they were a phone call away if we had any issues was second to none and set high expectations for the villa itself.
We were not disappointed!
The villa is beautifully presented, stylish, immaculate and with everything you could possibly need to hand.
It surpassed my expectations of a rental property. There has clearly been a lot of thought put in to what renters may need.
We particularly appreciated the pool toys and the beach equipment as well as the superbly equipped kitchen (everything we could possibly need for weaning a seven month old).
My three year old and husband were delighted with the satellite tv with a huge number of English channels (particularly Disney and sky news respectively!)
I thoroughly recommend this villa. With so many to choose from in this price bracket, casa romanica is with every penny.

"Lovely Villa in a peaceful location"
In terms of layout and amenities, this villa is probably one of the best we have rented especially the private pool/sunbathing area which, unlike other properties we have rented, was accessed directly from the lounge; it also had the added advantage of a good-sized communal pool. This was our first visit to Calpe and the only negative we could find was that despite the villa being in a very peaceful area, it was quite a distance from the main town; that said we had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. As has been said in previous reviews, the owners were very obliging and helpful in whatever was asked of them; nothing was too much trouble.

"The best villa we have stayed at"
The villa was exactly as described, a proper luxury villa. We had everything we needed, and particularly appreciated the air-con and wi-fi.
The kids enjoyed the private pool and the communal pool which is right next door.

"A real home from home."
I would recommend this villa without hesitation to anyone considering it.
Every aspect of our stay was faultless.
Ross and Nicky , the owners , were a joy to deal with from initial contact , providing clear and precise directions and instructions for all aspects of our stay, even calling us at the villa to check everything was going fine and offering suggestions for the area when asked.
The villa itself was spotless and supremely well equipped throughout.
There are books , DVDs ,CDs , games , pool inflatables , HD freeview , WiFi , every kitchen utensil you will ever need , and excellent air conditioning throughout , as well as having lots of nice touches like a sewing kit , first aid kit , and guides to the area.
The pool was most welcome and used extensively and there is always the option of the large communal pool as well.
The area was nice and quiet with a single bar/resturant about 5 minutes walk away.
To reach the beach front with it's extensive choice of amenities was about a 25 minute walk , and there is a regular bus service nearby if required.
We loved every moment of our stay and will surely be back.
