Calpe itself is a village steeped in maritime traditions and blessed with an extensive coast featuring fine, golden sand.
Among the many options for enjoying a stay in this authentic tourist village are walks along a promenade on foot, it is full of lively terrace restaurants offering fresh fish and seafood dishes, plus all kinds of water sports and activities, or a visit to its quaint old historic centre on the Costa Blanca. Calpe is an exclusive resort and many Spanish like to visit, this makes the resort very Spanish-speaking, even though many British tourists come here.
There is a weekly Saturday market held in Calpe, half of it is devoted to fruit and vegetables, the other half sells everything from clothes, to household goods to furnishings, cloth, toys, music and most things that you might need. The market is very popular with locals and foreign residents alike and starts early on Saturday morning, finishing around 1.30pm. The local bars and restaurants are full of Saturday shoppers and there is not much parking space left in the north of the town.
While staying in one of our villas in Calpe you will be able to enjoy some excellent golf. There are 13 golf courses along Costa Blanca, all of which can be played all year round, due to the good weather. The one which is closest to Calpe is called Club de Golf Ifach, this is 9km from Calpe.

Our Calpe villas are close to many interesting sites and activities. If you are in shape and feeling fit it is highly recommended to hike to the top of the Peñon de Ifach.There are salt lakes at the foot of Peñon de Ifach. These formerly Roman salt plants are now the habitat for birds like flamingoes.
Calpe´s beach line consists of wide sandy beaches and small coves divided by cliffs. The most popular beaches are Arenal-Bol , La Fossa and La Calalga.
Besides a wide range of bars and restaurants the beachfront offers all types of water sports activities like scuba diving, windsurfing, water-skiing and sailing in the Calpe Nautical Club.
This place is perfect for scuba diving due to its clear waters. Trips to dive points from the Puerto Blanco diving centre. Around the Peñon de Ifach you will see morayeels, sea cat, barracuda and octopus. Glass bottomed boat trips are available if diving is not your thing!
Benidorm is just a 30 minute drive from Calpe, it is home to many great attractions, such as:

Terra Mitica, www.terramiticapark.com, this is a huge attraction park with a vast range of roller coasters and waterslides.

Benidorm Centre – The centre of benidorm is full of shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. There are a range of shops for daytime shopping and an amazing nightlife. Benidorm's two beaches, the playa de poniente and the playa de levante are about 5 km long in total. Along most of the Playa de Poniente Beach, a main Benidorm road with heavy traffic passes by. So, if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing bath under Benidorm's sun, you should go for the Playa de Levante. There is a huge market in Benidorm on Wednesday and Sunday morning.
If you do not want to hire a car, then this is a very good way to explore the surrounding areas of Calpe. There is a bus company which offers national and international long-distance transport, regional transport, city transport, private and tourist transport, http://www.alsa.es/VentaParticulares/contenidoHorarios.jsp . Further details indoors: The villa is constructed with the majority of the living areas and bedrooms on the ground floor and upper levels. In addition there is a lower level self contained apartment having wheelchair access from the side road and a ramp up to the pool and sun terrace area, which makes it suitable for the disabled. The accommodation is truly stunning and extremely spacious throughout.
MAIN ACCOMMODATION: There are ten steps up to the front door which leads to the hallway. An archway gives access to the spacious, light and airy living room, having modern, colourful furnishings and a separate dining area. There are stunning views of the famous “Penon de Ifach” rock from the large patio doors. The two additional windows and a side terrace make the most of the views. Entertainment is provided here with a Flat Panel Digital TV, Satellite receiver, DVD Player and a music system.
The enclosed feature fireplace adds warmth to this comfortable living room. The large fitted breakfast kitchen, open plan to the living room and accessed through a second archway, benefits from a range of the latest modern appliances including a dishwasher, microwave oven, ceramic hob, extractor, electric oven and large fridge freezer. The breakfast table has built-in seating and separate chairs. Also on the ground floor there is a laundry room with washing machine, a family bathroom and two twin bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. Stairs from the hallway lead to the landing where there are two further twin bedrooms sharing a family bathroom, two double bedrooms both having en-suite shower rooms and patio doors to private balconies. All the bedrooms are light and airy with fitted wardrobes and bedside tables.
LOWER LEVEL ACCOMMODATION: A ramp from the side road gives access to a small terrace area. Double doors lead into the living room, which has the same high standard modern furnishings, dining table and chairs for eight people. A Satellite TV, DVD Player and music system are provided. The kitchen is open plan to the living room and offers a range of modern appliances including a microwave oven, dish washer, ceramic hob, electric oven, extractor and fridge freezer. On this level there is a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room, two further twin bedrooms, a double bedroom, family bathroom and a separate shower room. As with the main accommodation, all the bedrooms have the latest modern beds, fitted wardrobes, bedside tables. The villa benefits from full reverse air conditioning / heating and all the doors and windows have security shutters.
Further details outdoors: Double doors from the living room give access to the spacious covered terrace. From here steps lead down to a spacious sun terrace and the feature 12m x 6m swimming pool, which benefits from roman steps, a poolside shower and a feature waterfall area. A ramp from the lower accommodation leads up to the sun terrace and pool area. Patio furniture and a brick built BBQ are provided to enjoy ‘Al fresco’ dining. Above the lower entrance, accessed by steps, is a small open terrace to catch the sun.
The villa has mature, ornamental gardens with off road parking available for at least four cars. The villa and grounds are surrounded by high walls and have lockable gates and access doors. The superb high level of accommodation, sleeping 20 people, combined with magnificent views of the Penon and close proximity to all the amenities of Calpe make this a first choice for or discerning clients.
