About the home

A lovely holiday villa which is perfect for families and small groups. It has been recently built in a small residential development about 4 km from the gorgeous beaches of the Costa Brava.
There is a stylish living room with a sitting area with Sat-TV, a DVD/CD player and an open fire place. There is also a good sized dining table and french doors out to the terrace,garden and private swimming pool. There is a modern well equipped kitchen including a dish-washer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer in the garage. On the first floor there are 3 spacious bedrooms(1 king and 2 twins) and 2 bathrooms,each with bath and shower.
The covered terrace is great for enjoying meals outside whilst being shaded from the midday sun. The private swimming pool is a decent size 8 x 3 m, and surrounded by grass for relaxing on. Plenty of garden furniture, sunbeds and a BBQ are provided for your enjoyment.

Conditions

Cleaning and linen change at the end of your holiday are included in the price. However,if you book for 2 weeks ,a mid term change of linen and towels is provided and included in the price but not a villa clean.
Beach towels are not provided - please bring your own.
Please do not use the villa towels for either the beach or swimmimg pool.
Please do not put wet and sandy beach towels in the tumble dryer. A washing line is provided in the garden.

A deposit of 25% is required on booking and the balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival, or immediately if booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival date. A refundable security deposit of £100 is required against breakages and damage which will be refunded within 10 days of return of the villa keys to us providing our property manager has found everything to be in order after checking the villa inventory.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region

The Costa Brava coastal area is a mix of steep cliffs , small coves, long beaches, with fine sand against which the warm Mediterranean laps. The Catalonia countryside includes the Pyrenees mountain range with stunning lakes and valleys, clean air, forests, wild life and flowers. Visitors can enjoy adventure activities including climbing, walking, mountain biking and skiing.
Barcelona, Spain's second largest city, has many famous museums and impressive architecture to be discovered.

The Calonge area

Calonge is a small medieval village amongst many in the region. It is situated about 4 km from the nearest beach and has a number of Catalanion restaurants.
Markets are held in Calonge and the neighbouring villages and towns once a week.
The beaches are clean and safe for swimming.
Platja d'Aro and Palamos are within easy distance and have a wide range of shops and restaurants.
Walking and cycling are popular activities with a wide range of trails and tracks.

Fly to Girona airport or Barcelona airport, then hire a car or get a taxi to Calonge ( Taxi can be arranged by property manager).

The property is about 40 km from Girona airport and 100 km from Barcelona airport.

Ryanair flies into Girona airport from several UK and European airports. Easyjet flies into Barcelona airport together with many international carriers.

The villa was in excellent condition when we arrived. We found the property managers to be immensely friendly and helpful in every way and throughly recommend a stay in this villa. The locality was also nice, particularly the nearby town of Platja d'Aro which has lots of quality shops and restaurants as well as a beach and water park. Cancellation Policy:

In the event of cancellation - up to 60 days before arrival - 25% of total rental forfeited

- 30-60 days before arrival - 50% of total rental forfeited

- 0-30 days before arrival - 100% of total rental forfeited

If we are able to secure another booking an administration fee of 25% of the total rental will be deducted and the balance of payments made will be refunded.
