A traditional Catalan villa in a peaceful location close to the town of Calonge within easy reach of Girona and Barcelona. The modernised 3 bedroom villa is equipped to a high standard but retains its Spanish charm. It is all on one level with a driveway to the front door. Spacious grounds with private heated pool, paved poolside patio and small grassy area. Ideal as a place to relax or a base for exploring the many attractions in the area.
Long safe sandy beaches are a 5 minute drive away at St Antoni and the old fishing port of Palamos with a long promenade connecting the two, for those who like a stroll. Great restaurant/bar just 100 metres away plus excellent restaurants nearby; local markets daily in different towns and shopping, beach and nightlife in Playa D'Aro. Barcelona, Girona, L'Bisbal (centre of ceramics) and Figueres (Dali museum) are great day trips within easy reach. There are many local hiking trails; stunning medieval towns to explore and golf, tennis, mini-golf and water sports. Our agents live locally and will offer you a friendly and personal service.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
The Costa Brava is a coastal region of northeastern Catalonia, Spain, in the province of Girona. A diverse region of extraordinary natural beauty and cultural heritage. There are many fun attractions on offer including adventure sports, mountaineering and rock-climbing. There are beautiful beaches and coves to explore, a rich heritage of Romanesque art and some stunning natural parks.
Head to one of the picturesque coastal towns such as Pals, Begur, Tamariu, Llafranc, Aigua Blava, Fornells and Calella de Palafrugell. Have lunch or an evening meal by the beach. Taste the local wine in one of the bodegas or visit one of the vineyards! Small towns like Cadaqués have attracted artists such as Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso and are now fashionable resorts. In Figueres you will find the Dalí museum, Púbol Gala’s castle and in Port Lligat, Dalí’s house museum.
With first-class golf, horse riding and walking; A superb climate, excellent beaches and picturesque countryside the Costa Brava is the perfect holiday destination.
Calonge area
Calonge is a small medieval village akin to many in the region. It is situated about a 5 minute drive from the nearest beach St Antoni, a long sandy beach with children's play areas, restaurants and ice cream parlour. From St. Antoni take a walk (40 minutes) down the paved promenade to Palamos where you will find a sandy beach and amusement centres. For a local drink or dinner, a restaurant/tapas bar is just a 5 minute walk away The Aquapark at Playa d'Aro is a 8 km drive and there's golf galore with a wide choice of courses on offer, Club Golf d'Aro, Club de Golf Costa Brava and Santa Cristina (all 5 km away), to name but a few. Other fun activities include kite surfing, sailing, aquapark, golf, tennis, bike hire, diving and snorkeling. Whether its a relaxing holiday you're after lazing by the pool or a jam packed action one, Villabella is a great base for it all!
