The West Country region
Rilla Mill, really is a hidden gem, located fantastically for access to the north or south beaches. Boasting some of the most beautiful un-spoilt walks you’ll experience. Just steps from where you’ll be staying there are walks where you can enjoy the un-spoilt nature with no interruptions from anybody. Moments up the road you can enjoy walks around parts of Bodmin Moor with attractions such as the hurlers and the Cheesewring.
A large part the land here was once an island, and even though nowadays joined to the mainland, a feeling of individuality remains. Heathland covers the granite outcrops and the area is scattered with remnants of an incredibly ancient heritage. As you slip off the edge of the map into rocky gorges where tiny fishing villages face a wild ocean it’s as if you have slipped off the edge of time where Cornwall reveals its most individual and captivating side.
You'll find: smugglers' coves, show stopping beaches, historic mining settlements, surf spots, boat trips, harbour towns, dramatic coastal scenery, The Minack Theatre, St. Michael's Mount, and The Lizard.
Netherhill sits on the edge of Bodmin Moor with beautiful walks on the doorstep. In walking distance to the local public house the Manor Inn. A two minute drive will take you to the village of Minions which sits on Bodmin Moor, here you will find the highest tea shop in cornwall, Hurlers Holt, there is also a shop/post office, and the cheesering pub. National Trust properties near by are Landhydrock, Saltrum House and Antony. The Eden Project is a thirty five minute drive.

"Great place to stay and relax"
This is a great place to stay and in an ideal place for exploring Cornwall, we stayed in November 2012 and had a lovely relaxing time. We enjopyed it so much we are going again next year. If you looking for peace, quiet & tranquility this is the place. The accomodation was spotless with everything you require and the hosts are friendly and helpful. Would recommend Netherhill as a lovely relaxing place to stay.

"what a wonderful place so relaxing"
We stayed at Netherhill for a week in August, what a great find this was such a beautiful friendly cornish village. Our hosts could not have been kinder, and very welcoming. The accommodation was spotless, and had everything we needed. We also found that it was well situated for visiting the surrounding areas, so much to see and do. All in all a great place to visit so relaxing we will be going back, soon i hope.
