Thank you so much for the lovely review - it is always nice to hear that our guests have enjoyed themselves. We have only owned the lodge a short time and have worked hard to get it ready for the season and so it was good to read that we got it right. Sorry to hear you were unable to use the restaurant but there are some amazing pubs nearby - some walkable and so we hope that it did not hinder your holiday with us too much - We have put a selection of menu's in the lodge along with some personal recommendations which we hope that you managed to try during your stay ?. We do hope to welcome you back again. regards Robin and Dee

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, we have worked very hard in a very short space of time to get the place to a standard which we would accept for renting and so it is lovely to read that it has been appreciated.
We are indeed fortunate for the location of Robin's nest as it doesn't matter which direction you travel there is always something to see and do.
Free WIFI is currently available at the manor house if you had required it which is a very short stroll but i completely agree that it is not always necessary and much more relaxing without.
I do hope that we can welcome you back again in the not too distant future.
