Home description
Callao Salvaje is located on the South West coast of Tenerife between the resorts of Playa de Las Americas and Los Gigantes. The apartment is situated in the quiet residential complex of Arco Iris Playa and is only 200 metres from the beach. There are excellent views of the sea, the Island of La Gomera and Mount Teide from the upstairs solarium, which benefits from the sun all day until sunset which is a truly magnificent and romantic sight not to be missed.

The Tenerife region
Tenerife has all the year round sun and has one of the best climates to visit at any time of the year. The island has an abundance of first class beachs and the National Park of Mount Teide must be seen as several films have been made in the area which is renowned for its lava flows from Mount Teide when it was a live volcanoe. The island is ideal for golfers, walkers, fishing water sports, whale and dolphin trips, mountain trekking or just lazing around on the beach or sun terrace, there is something for everyone on the island and so much to do and see. Our experience, on the beach new years day 2006, with the temperature at 25 degrees what more could you ask for.
Callao Salvaje / Arco Iris area
Callao Salvaje is a bustling village style resort which is located 15 minutes from the resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa De Las Americas and is an ideal base for a perfect relaxing chill out holiday.The resort has late bars with a variety of entertainment. For those who wish to venture further afield there is a good local taxi and bus service to all parts of the island.The beach is half pebbles and sand, with many rocky outcrops and a jetty that is ideal for fishing and snorkelling. Golf courses such as Adeje and Golf del Sur are only a short ride away. Special attractions such as Aquapark and Parque Las Aguilas are only about 15 minutes from the resort. The well renowned markets at Los Cristianos on Sundays and Torviscas on Thursday are also within easy reach of the resort. Overall Callao Salvaje and our apartment is an excellent base location to explore the sites of Tenerife or just relax have drink and chill out.

Further details indoors: The apartment is split into three levels, on entry there is a separate wc, and separate fully fitted kitchen, with all facilities including microwave oven. Leading from the kitchen is a very spacious living area which has two patio style sliding windows with balconies, seating for four people and dining area for four. There is also a TV, DVD player, VCR and a small selection of films and games. Down the spiral staircase to the lower level is a fully fitted bathroom with shower and badet. There is one twin bedroom with wardrobe, safe and large sliding windows; the second bedroom the second bedroom has two single beds. From the living room area a spiral staircase leads up stairs to the solarium which has two large areas for al fresco dining and sunbathing. Sun beds parsols, dining table and chairs are provided. All bed linen, bath and hand towels are provided. The views from the solarium are second to none.
Further details
Payment is only accepted in the qouted currency unless the currency and the amount are specifically agreed in advance with the owner. On initial booking a deposit of £25 person is required to secure the apartment and full payment is required 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. Late availabilty bookings when confirmed require full payment once the booking has been agreed by both parties. At the time of booking a good housekeeping bond is required and is fully refundable on vacation of the apartment provided it is left in a satisfactory and undamaged condition. Please note we do expect the normal "wear and tear" and accidents with cups,glasses and china that are part of every day life.
The good house keeping deposit will only be retained if there is a blatant misuse of any furniture, fixtures or fittings.
