Home description
Our luxuriously appointed detached villa is located within a few minutes level walk to most local amenities.
All main bedrooms (king size beds) enjoy direct access to the patio areas and private pool (heated in the winter months).
The villa has been constructed on one level, making it 'user friendly' for both infants and the elderly.
All rooms have mosquito shutters - although these are rarely a problem - and security grills. There is a safe provided for valuables, and fire alarms have been installed throughout the villa.
There is of course a fully appointed kitchen, complete with oven, separate hob, microwave, fridge / freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and fresh coffee-making facilities.
To the rear of the villa we have ample terracing on various levels, with sun awnings providing for shade outside all main bedrooms, and a large covered dining and barbecue area - ideal for alfresco evenings, with a roof terrace above - with child proof entrance gate - providing a cool evening breeze on the warm summer nights, and both sea and mountain views.
There are ample sun loungers, tables and chairs, together with a typically Spanish barbecue, and not forgetting a rather large and welcoming pool - electrically heated in the winter months!

The Tenerife region
The Island of Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands. It is positioned just off the west coast of Africa, and enjoys year round sunshine with temperatures averaging between 20 - 27 centigrade throughout the year.
Mount Teide is the highest mountain in Spain, and at 3,718 metres, the top is covered for much of the winter months in snow! There are many sights to see throughout the island, far too numerous to mention, so we have in our villas a book called 'Tenerife Select' - an exclusive destination. This lists the best attractions, restaurants, sports and all the important telephone numbers you may need during your stay.
Whilst we would consider a car to be recommended, please take advantage of the 'Island tour' which picks up locally. This is a full day, and means that your driver can also relax and take in the lovely views.
Callao Salvaje / Sueno Azul area
Callao Salvaje, whilst some 10 minutes drive to the nightlife of Las Americas and the lovely beaches of Fanabe, is considered to be a quieter 'village'. However, Callao Salvaje boasts a small rocky cove with a pebble / sandy black beach, but with strong undercurrents - so not recommended for family swimming! There are plenty of restaurants, including English, French, German, Italian, Chinese and of course Spanish. There are small supermarkets, souvenir shops, banks, internet cafe, hairdressers, Doctors, Chemists etc. etc. This is a bustling little village, and is quite lively with restaurant trade etc.until 10 - 11p..m, after which only the bars remain open (through to around midnight) so again will appeal to family groups rather than 'single' groups looking for a 24/7 location.
How to get there
The nearest Airport is Tenerife South (Reina Sofia). Our villas are approx. 30 minutes drive from the airport (or 25 minutes by taxi)! There are two competitive car hire companies operating from the concourse that we regularly use; Autoreisen (www.autoreisen.es) and Record (www.recordrentacar.com). Please note; if using Autoreisen, their petrol gauge records a full tank on the left side of the dial, so you would assume an empty tank when full, and vica-versa! A car is recommended for your stay in order that you may get around to the the island's beaches, villages etc.

Further details indoors: The large lounge area includes two relaxing sofas and three easy chairs. Sliding glass doors open onto the covered dining area, and the pool and terraced areas.
The dining area is equipped with a ceiling fan, and the lounge is equipped with a Satellite television, providing BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5. A CD player, radio and DVD player is also provided.
A selection of games - for all ages are available, and please enjoy reading our private collection of novels if you so wish.
Further details outdoors: Outside you will enjoy our private gardens, where we have provided ample tables and chairs - so if you wish to invite friends round for an impromptu barbecue / swim there will be enough seating for 16 persons.
The pool (4m x 8m) has Roman steps at the shallow end for easy access, and a cover which can be pulled over at night time to conserve heating. We have installed an outside shower to be used before and after swimming. The pool is also cleaned twice a week ensuring perfectly safe and clean water at all times - delivered to you at a perfect temperature!
Subtle outside lighting is also provided for your evenings al fresco.
Mount Teide can be seen on most days in one direction, and in the other you have glimpses of the sea.
Further details
We have a local cleaning contractor providing maid service for the overall cleaning of the villa, and ensuring you have clean linen (changed every Friday) and towels etc. (changed twice a week). They are available to answer any problems or questions you may have during your stay.
We can also provide 'welcome packs' if you so wish with a selection of provisions at a price of £25.
Conditions
A security deposit of £200 will be required to cover loss or damage.
*We do expect normal 'wear and tear' and the normal accidents with glasses and china etc. are to be expected. The security deposit will only be retained if there has been blatant mis-use of the furniture / furnishings / fixtures and fittings.

Whilst we provide for a cot and highchair in each villa at no extra charge, we can provide further cots / highchairs at a cost of £10 per week. Welcome packs can also be provided at £25 each, and include Water, Tea, Coffee, Bread, Sugar, Milk, Ham, Spread, Marmalade, Jam etc.
