The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.
Further details outdoors:
Outside the gardens are private and secluded, there a large open patio and a barbecue .
The covered patio area attached to the rear of the villa overlooks the pool, this has lounging and dining furniture that comfortably seats 8 and is ideal for comfortable al fresco eating when the sun is too hot to be uncovered. Other smaller tables and chairs are situated on this patio next to the barbecue. Low steps lead to a further large tiled patio area with sun 8 loungers and the large heated pool. Discrete lighting is provided around this area to highlight the gardens, the pool and a large pepper tree.
The front and rear gardens are well stocked with native trees and shrubs including bougainvillea, oleanders, hibiscus, aloe vera, yucca, cactus and pepper trees. Mount Teide can be seen clearly from the gardens in one direction, (and the summit is often snow covered to late June!) and the other, with glimpses through the trees to the sea towards the unspoilt island of La Gomera.
Further details
Swimming pool is not heated from 1st May until 1st October as this is really not necessary, an extra charge of £50 a week is made from 1st October till 1st May for pool heating if this is required.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife, known as one of the fortunate islands, boasts fabulous year round weather. This sub-tropical Island has arguably has one of the best climates in the world.
A visit to Mount Teide is an amazing day out, driving from the arid coast, up through gently increasing vegetation, through Canarian pine forest, past barren lava fields, (scene of films like Planet of the Apes, Star Wars and the 10 Commandments, with evidence of the last eruption in 1909 is still very visible). A cable car journey to within 100 meters of the summit is well worthwhile, the views are stunning, and depending upon weather conditions it is possible to see the other Canarian islands. At 3,718 meters, Teide is the highest mountain in Spain, and is the second largest slope volcano in the world and the surrounding area is one of Spain’s national parks.
The fascinating neighbouring island of La Gomera can be visited by a short boat trip, it has been left largely undeveloped by the tourist industry. Again it is volcanic with dramatic scenery, the native Gomerians have developed a unique whistling language for long distance communication across deep gorges, and the centre of the island is again a Spanish national park, but very different to Teide, as this is heavily forested and contains 30 foot heather trees originating from prehistoric times.
The 500 metre cliffs droping straight into the sea at Las Gigantes are spectacular, along with the black sand beach and the cafes along side the marina, ideal to take a boat trip and go whale and dolphin watching.
There are numerous other beaches, of both black and white sand including of course Las Americas, Las Christianos, and our favourite Bahia del Duque near La Calletta.
The Callao Salvaje / Sueno Azul area
Callao Salvaje & Sueno Azul (Blue Dream) is a small area in the quiet town of Callao Salvaje, situated on the Pearl Coast of Tenerife.
The town has both a local residential and tourist population, There are small bars and restaurants along the road to the seafront catering for both Spanish and tourists . Several small local supermarkets and a range of other shops cater for immediate day to day needs, and all within easy walking distance of the villa. Other large supermarkets are situated at Adeje just a short distance away. The small beach consists of both sand and pebbles, with plans to upgrade shortly, and the remains of a jetty is popular with fishermen.
There are some excellent leisure facilities that include tennis (100 yards from the villa), squash, boat trips and water sports close by .
From Callao Salvaje, the busy nightlife and huge beaches of Los Christianos and Playa del Los Americas are a short bus or taxi ride, the towns of San Juan and Los Gigantes are a similar distances but in the opposite direction!
Other activities and attractions within a 20 minute drive include :-
Aqualand Water Park,
Park Las Aguilas Jungle Park
Sky Park
Gokarts
Quad bikes
It is therefore a great location for families and also for people who like to be near some action, but not all the time!

Guestbook for La Paz
Wow! What a lovely villa. No complains what-so-ever, before we arrived we had visions of day trips out every day, but the villa + pool (and thankfully the weather) are so lovely we've only ventured out a few times. The local restauants are lovely + we've enjoyed lots of rest and relaxation. (This villa is just too nice to want to go out).
Fantastic villa with beautiful pool. Had a great time with lovely weather.

Thank you for a lovely stay. The villa is fantastic , and the heated pool has been great for the kids.
We all had a great time at villa "La Paz", and the children loved the pool. Good location.
